See and breathe in the water as easily as on land.

The First Full Face Snorkeling Mask invented by Subea, our Snorkeling brand.
Some people believe that snorkeling is difficult. There are many sticking points : breathing isn't natural with a snorkel and you might view the mouthpiece as uncomfortable and unhygienic. A mask's field of vision is relatively narrow, and when the mask fogs up, you don’t get the best experience of the amazing underwater world.
This led our design teams to revolutionize snorkeling by developing the world's first full face snorkeling mask, so you can see and breathe in water as easily as on land.

Behind the Innovation
Every day, the Subea design teams are working to make snorkeling accessible to more people.
"We've revolutionized snorkeling by creating the Easybreath mask, but our challenge was to come up with this innovation at an affordable price." Emily, Snorkeling Product Manager.
From research to marketing by way of design, production and logistics, the design teams strive to optimize costs at every stage.
"During the prototyping phase, we quickly opted for a clip-system for assemblying the mask. It's quicker to put together and therefore less expensive to produce than a glued assembly." Quentin, Easybreath engineer
When initially launched, the Easybreath mask was sold for $45. For 2017, the design team has been able to reduce the price by 25% by dropping from 4 to 2 sizes, while still covering 90% of face shapes. The Subea Easybreath mask is now available for $29.99.

The design team ran a study on beaches in Europe, China and Brazil, and the results were very clear: snorkeling is often seen as difficult. Based on this observation, the Easybreath project was born.
We set ourselves the objective of alleviating these problems and developing a product that would encourage hundreds of thousands people to experience the marvels of the underwater world with us.
Nearly 50 test protocols and trials were necessary to develop the Easybreath mask.
Most of these tests were conducted in our Decathlon Research and Development Center.
