What we are looking for

Very good touch and comfortable. Good quality/price

Good equipment, foam worth the price

The sizing is a bit strange, I'm 170 cm tall, chest circumference 108 according to the XL table :) But the wetsuit is not too long, good fit, in fresh water - river, at 17-19 degrees it behaves very well. Good adhesion, nothing is poured under the foam beyond what is supposed to be there.

Good

Quite easy to put on, good for hot days and warm water if you want to have protection even from impacts towards rocks or if you practice foiling. After a few hours he got a little sore behind his knee.

Very irritable material

The material used is very "rough", with just one use it left horrible wounds on my neck. I know this type of thing is normal for this to happen, but it usually occurs after 3 or 4 consecutive days of use and is much less severe. Other than that, despite absorbing a lot of water, the material is light and fulfills the purpose of being a suit for "warmer" waters.

Fragile and almost disposable

My brother has used the product 3 times and the stitching is breaking.

Fact 2/2

Good price and great for summer

Good product

A very nice wetsuit for difficult conditions on the Baltic Sea. It works well in water at a temperature of 17 degrees, for up to about 1 hour. It does not restrict movements, provided the appropriate size is selected. For this price it's really worth it. Occasional surfing a few times a year. It's quite enough.

Burning in the armpits…

Armpit burns after 2 uses and extremely small wrists

Difficulties in going up the…

Difficulty in reassembling the closure completely. Maybe a little tight in the chest.

Good but can cause irritation

Good wetsuit if it weren't for the irritation to the neck that can cause if worn for more than 2/3 hours

Additional Product Information

Composition

Foam: 100.0% Rubber ; Main fabric: 100.0% Polyester

How to choose the right wetsuit (part 1)

The 1st selection criterion when choosing a surfing wetsuit is the water temperature. Water temperature varies according to the location and the time of the year. Systematically make sure that the water temperature at your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range: Warm water above 68°F. Temperate water between 63 and 72°F. Cold water between 54 and 63°F. Very cold water between 45 and 54°F. Visit the site seatemperature.org to find out the temperature of your spot.

How to choose the right wetsuit (part 2)

The 2nd criterion to take into account is the length of your sessions. If your sessions last less than an hour, the 100 models will be suitable. For up to 2 hours, opt for the 500 models, and for up to 3 hours, the 900 models.Compared to the 100 models, the 500 models will be warmer (and more watertight) and more efficient at reducing fatigue (more freedom of movement) and irritation. The same is true for the 900 models compared with the 500 models.NB: the 900 models are easier to put on.

Choose the right size

To make the most of the features of your wetsuit, it is necessary to choose the correct size. A surfing wetsuit should be a very tight fit and there should be no visible folds. When dry, it is perfectly normal to feel like it is too tight, this discomfort disappears as soon as the wetsuit gets wet. If you choose a wetsuit that is too big, folds will appear, you will experience irritation and thermal comfort will be reduced (letting in water).Try it on before you buy it!

Materials

This Tribord 100 2/2 wetsuit is made from genuine neoprene for improved comfort during use.The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for added resistance to wear.Neoprene thickness: 2 mm.The neoprene is made from an elastomer foam with insulating properties. We test and guarantee the quality of our neoprene materials.

Neck

The neck finish has been developed to limit irritation. According to the sensitivity of the wearer, a UV top can be worn under the wetsuit to reduce the risk of irritation. The application of grease (e.g. Vaseline) in friction areas (neck, underarms, knees) is also recommended if wearing the wetsuit for long periods.Make sure the flap is always inside the wetsuit to limit the risk of irritation with the zipper and the neck.

Fastening

Our zippers and fastenings are laboratory-tested in order to ensure an optimal lifespan and good resistance to salt water. We have put the zipper at the back of the wetsuit for more comfort during surf sports (when lying down to paddle).

Anti-chafing design

We designed this product with seamless panels under the arms to limit irritation due to the repetitive paddling movements associated with surf sports.

Stay warm for longer with our thermal accessories! each temperature range has its own outfit...

When we are in the water, we lose more than half of our body heat through our extremities (feet, hands, head). Consequently, here are the recommended accessories: - in warm water and temperate water (>63°F) => neoprene low booties.- in cold water (54 - 63°F): High booties (boots) and gloves.- in very cold water (45 - 54°F): High booties (boots), gloves, hood, and hooded top...Find our entire range of neoprene accessories on our website

Multiwater sports wetsuits

Our wetsuits are designed to meet the needs of the most demanding surfers. Our design choices also make them compatible with other water sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, sea wading, or SUP (stand-up paddleboarding).

Product testing

Developed and tested by our design teams in Hendaye, France. The components used for this product are laboratory-tested to ensure the best possible quality and durability.

Storage instructions

In a dry, ventilated place. Avoid heat sources. To extend the life of your wetsuit, do not leave it out to dry in direct sunlight. Machine washing is not recommended
