Which fitness mat should you use?
You should choose your fitness mat based on the type of activity you are doing, the intensity level, and whether you exercise in trainers, socks or bare feet. For abdominal exercises, go for a mat with a protective film. They are more resistant to abrasion from shoes and will not tear. For physiotherapy exercises, and other similar activities such as pilates and stretching, go for a soft, thick mat for extra comfort.
