Hello Deepak,

Thank you for your valuable review. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the product. Since you were not satisfied with the product, Please feel free to kindly visit your nearest Decathlon store and get the product exchanged/refunded. Our team at stores will be more than happy to assist you for the same.

I hope the information was helpful. Kindly write back me in case of any further queries.

Warm, light and small

Went trekking in Bhutan in November. This sleeping bag kept me comfortably warm in 0-3℃. I slept with a mid-weight base layer and a micro-fleece for both top and bottom though. The compression bag that comes with it is a little filmsy with straps that are quite thin. The sleeping bag is really light and packs easily into the sack. But the straps were a little hard to cinch down for the compression. Fearing that I may break the straps or sack during the camp, I switched to a sturdier stuff sack. I am 1.58m and the M is certainly too long for my height, but that also means there is plenty of toe box room to stuff all my trekking clothes to keep them warm for the morning.

Hello Pauline,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Trekking Sleeping Bag 0 Degree Down Feathers. I am glad that the product serves you well. Your feedback matters most to us - we will send this over to our product engineers regarding the straps ;) Do come down to any of our stores to check out the full range. We hope to see you soon!

I have walked and climbed all over. I have had the best ! ie Mammut and yeti and yes there are good. But for the price the bag is outstanding and Get a very cheap light polyester bag and have that on the outside and you can go any where. The FORCLAZ SLEEPING BAG is 900 fill duck down which is great, also the zip and hood are very good. Comes with 2 bags 1 for the hills and 1 for home. This is a very good bag for the money and weight. If you put another top name on it.... you would pay 100-200 money just for a name. Stay safe.

Good Value and warm

I was using this sleeping bag and camping in Japan for 3 night during Autumn. it was about 0-5 degree at night, it really keep me warm especially during 4-5am in the morning. I am 164cm and M size just fit me.

Used indoor between -5 to -10 Celcius

Still give me the warmth I need. I had good sleep with this while trekking in the mountains for 15 days in winter season.

Great sleeping bag

Excellent for a cold sleeper.

Fantastic bag for a cold sleeper. Roomy in chest area. Hoodie is great for additional warmth. Zipper is good and rarely catches incorrectly. Rolls up and fits in bag with ease.

Temperature rating:

All our sleeping bags display the temperature ratings, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX), in accordance with European NF ISO 23537 standard (2017). The temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user, in a relaxed pose, is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither cold nor hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag accordingly.

What are the temperatures ratings?

Limit temperature: temperature at which the user, huddled up in the sleeping bag, is globally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard man under normal conditions of use).

What you need to know about these temperatures:

A sleeping bag does not produce heat but retains the heat produced by the body. If you are tired and cold and you slip inside a cold, damp sleeping bag, it is very likely that you will feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! These temperatures therefore depend on the person's resistance to cold (bulk, fatigue, etc.), equipment (mattress with insulation, etc.), clothing (naked, underwear, etc.) and weather conditions (humidity, wind, etc.).

The mummy shape optimises thermal insulation (no loss of heat because there is not much air flow or draughts) and saves space, which means that your movements are restricted. Width at the shoulders 75 cm, height at the feet 26 cm in size L. Ergonomic hood with drawstring. Double slider, lined with an anti-cold duvet flap, side opening. H-shaped compartment structure to reduce thermal bridges.

For greater comfort, before getting into your sleeping bag:

Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough). Keep your head, hands and feet warm: hats, gloves, socks, hand/feet warmers, rubdowns etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (as long as there's no chance of it accidentally opening) Keep your muscles contracted (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but do so without moving as this could create a draught. Use a sleeping bag liner, ideally made of silk, to maximize the heat inside your sleeping bag.

Weight and size:

Size M 895 g, height: up to 1.70 m. Folded dimensions: Ø 16 x 34 cm. Volume 7 L. 15.5 oz of feathers. Size L 985 g, height: 1.70 to 1.85m. Folded dimensions: Ø 17 x 34 cm. Volume 8 L. 1.1 lbs of feathers. Size XL 1100 g, height: 1.85 to 2 m. Folded dimensions: Ø 18 x 34 cm. Volume 9 L. 1.2 lbs of feathers. Try out your bag before buying it to make sure you choose the right size for maximum comfort.

Origin of feathers:

Our traceability system means we can guarantee the origin of the feathers, in accordance with our commitment to use responsibly sourced materials. Our suppliers are committed to using only feathers that come from ducks that are bred for their meat and are plucked after slaughtering. The feathers and down used for your sleeping bag come from ducks reared in China.

85% duck down/15% duck feathers. Filling Power of the down: 800 Cuin (IDFB standard)

Care and washing instructions:

Feathers require particular care. Follow care advice.

Washing instructions

Turn inside out and machine wash at 30° on a delicate programme with 3 or 4 laundry balls (or clean, used tennis balls). Use a special detergent for feathers and down. Rinse several times. Spin slowly on a delicate cycle. Tumble dry on a gentle programme, at a low temperature. Finish off by air drying, ideally in the sun, on both sides to prevent the down from clumping together. Check that your sleeping bag is completely dry before storing.

This sleeping bag is guaranteed for 5 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. The product covered by the warranty will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use. This special 5-year warranty is only valid on presentation of the product and receipt.

Product testing

Size and height of the user: M < 1.7 m < L < 1.85 m < XL < 2 m

Storage instructions

To keep the fill power that provides the thermal insulation, store your bag loosely in the mesh storage bag provided, feet first. Store flat, if possible.
