I used a Kalenji 220 for a coupe of years with no issues but wanted to upgrade as my running improved and my requirements changed. I bought this product around Christmas and expected the same reliability I had with the 220. However, I've had problems with it/the app from the start. The watch loses connection to GPS for no reason. It saves runs then loses them before you upload it to the app. It unpairs itself from the from the app on a regular basis. The exercises it does save don't always upload to Strava. I've reported the issues to Decathlon on numerous occasions and they have provided advice and support but it is an unreliable piece of kit as the issues have been frustrating. I've now given up and bought a Garmin. Don't waste your money on this cheap, unreliable tracker.
Will not connect to app, despite following advice from Decathlon. Therefore the watch is of no use to me and I will be returning it.
My Kiprun 500 never ever recorded a step! It is unreliable when trying to sync with the app and it freezes on a regular basis so it barely functions as a watch let alone a training aid! I will be returning it for a refund.
Bought on clearance. Definitely worth the price for a GPS watch. Having read so much negative reviews I had initial apprehensions but after having tried it I am definitely happy with my purchase. Thank you Decathlon.
GPS is not really accurate. Battery life very bad. Can hardly believe it doesn't last a week when used as normal watch

Overall Watch is great but the gps never worked for me indoor and outdoors

Zdálo se bĂ˝t vše ok, pravda Ĺľe mÄ› jiĹľ pĹ™enos dat do MT tolik nezajĂmal, staÄŤilo mĂt Ăşdaje na oÄŤĂch (ruce). JenĹľe on se mÄ›sĂc s mÄ›sĂcem sešel a já zaÄŤal chodit pozdÄ› :-) Ten strojek si prostÄ› vzpomÄ›l Ĺľe se zaÄŤne zasekávat. Displej normalka svĂtĂ, pĂše, ale ÄŤas na nÄ›m stojĂ. Probere jen restart. Co vĂc si od hodinek přát :-)))) Hodinky špatnĂ˝, ale dÄ›kuji personálu za ochotu. VĹľdy se snaĹľili .

Sehr gute GPS Uhr! Wird zum Laufen verwendet. Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Genauigkeit bei mir hervorragend, meist reproduzierbar auf besser als +/- 20m bei 15 km Strecke, (die gelaufene 3 km Runde ist hand- und kartenvermessen). Durch GPS und Glosnass auch unter schlechten Bedingungen genau. (Mein Sigma Radcomputer ist schlechter, z.B unter Bäumen/im Wald) Fastfix wird jede Woche einmal aktualisiert, ohne Probleme, findet daher die Satelliten schnell. Die Akkuleistung ist stabil und ausreichend. Getestet, nach 100 km Radfahren war immer noch 50% Restkappa vorhanden. Bei 2x Laufen pro Woche (15km) und täglichen Wecker hält eine Ladung 6-7 Tage. Die Armbänder sind sehr preiswert und einfach zu wechseln. (bei Garmin FR
Die sieben Stunden Akkulaufzeit mögen den meisten Nutzern ausreichen. Allerdings gibt es große Ungenauigkeiten in der Messung: Die Strecke wird fast immer zu lang gemessen. Die App ist leider wenig gelungen. Zumindest ein Export der GPX-Daten sollte doch eingerichtet sein. Das sogenannte "Fastfix" soll die Satellitenpositionen aktuell halten, wird aber ca. 3 Monate nach Kauf nicht mehr aktualisiert. Das Display ist übersichtlich und kann individuell gestaltet werden. Die Uhr ist leicht und trägt sich gut. Als Einsteigermodell geeignet. Wer mehr macht, muss auch mehr investieren.

Die Uhr funktioniert bei der GPS-Aufzeichnung hervorragend. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Decathlon-App und die Kommunikation mit Dritt-Apps funktioniert einwandfrei. Kaufentscheidend war für mich jedoch, dass die Pulsmessung mit dem Decathlon-Brustgurt möglich ist. Laut Verpackung von Uhr und Gurt sowie laut Auskunft der Verkäuferin sei dies möglich. Allerdings funktioniert es nicht. Der technische Support sagt, das Problem sei bekannt aber kurzfristig nicht lösbar. Leider ist die Uhr für mich dadurch unbrauchbar.
Die Kiprun GPS 500 wurde termingerecht geliefert. Ich habe die Uhr jetzt mehrfach auf einer vermessenen 10-km-Strecke ( die zu fast 50% durch dichten Laubwald führt) getestet. Das Ergebnis war absolut überzeugend. Es gab eine Abweichung von max. 10 Metern. Ich hatte zuvor mehrere GPS-Uhren ausprobiert - jedoch alle wieder zurückgegeben, da auf dieser Strecke Abweichungen bis zu 1,5 km auftraten. Einen Bewertungspunkt habe ich wegen der ungenauen und unvollständigen Bedienungsanleitung abgezogen. Das mehrsprachige Heft ist sehr ungenau und lässt viele Einstellungen aus. Ich habe mir aus dem Internet eine Bedienungsanleitung heruntergeladen. Diese ist sehr ausführlich - jedoch nur auf Englisch erhältlich. Zusammenfassend kann man die Uhr bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen
