Was a little skeptical buying a size up (6ft/160lbs and typically a medium, but bought large), but they fit really well with some wiggle room. The side pocket was great for holding my id and credit card while paddle boarding. I'd buy more of these if they came in other colors.
looks just like the picture. excellent quality. great price
I found shorts to be much shorter in leg length than was illustrated in the photographs. Closer to cycling shorts than surf short.
It is not stretchable. while surfing when a person has to pop up multiple times, one can feel the restriction due to these shorts. Also the thread to tie can easily open up due to waves.

Yes, you're right! The fabric that were used has moisture-wicking features. This certainly helps in reducing water absorbed making it lightweight as much as possible.
