I use this jacket quite often in the winter mainly for walking my 3 dogs. The rear poachers pocket means I can put all the leaders in while my hands are kept warm in the warm side pockets. Overall great jacket for the price.
Very comfortable, very warm and windproof with decent pockets. I use it mainly for dog walking in the foothills of the Cairngorms. No chance yet to see how waterproof it will be in heavy rain but light rain just falls off. Chest pockets (handwarming) and side pockets well designed with additional useful internal phone pocket.

fit for purpose very warm heavy jacket very pleased with it. if you are planing on using this for hunting it does make a rustling noise
Excellent jacket for money. Only negative is that the Zip is a little difficult to use. With gloves on it is even more difficult.
having bought the down jacket XL and then got this bad boy jacket at 2 XL. I am in solognac hevean, top warmth and durabilty for years to come, once yor in side it you can can go any where. Happy days.
Heavy coat well made ten out of ten winter hunting coat
Read the reviews, got the coat to wear walking my dog in all weather every day for the past two years.This coat is brilliant for the money totally windproof and waterproof for a good 60-90 minutes very hard wearing. I would not hesitate to buy another. I live on the east coast of England and have constant rain and always windy rarely go out with anything other than the shirt underneath.

As usual decathlon have come up trumps again, great jacket, super quick delivery, this is my second jacket, after my wife commented on how nice mine was, no more cold wet mornings with the kids football, would recommend, keep up the good work......
A fab warm jacket
Excellent jacket. Very warm and comfortable well into subzero temperatures. Match it with the equivalent trousers from this range of clothing and your sorted.
I have tested this parka in very cold weather and high wind and heavy rain. It performs superbly and is relatively light. The fleece lined hood and handwarmer pockets are great. The poachers pocket excellent and the internal zipped and lined pocket superb for a wallet or phone that needs to stay out of the wet. I can highly recomend this jacket. There are reviews of the parka on youtube with the same recomendations. Well made.
I received this on Christmas day and the weather was perfect to test it. Pouring with rain I took the dog out for a 2 hour walk and was very impressed with how dry and warm I remained under the coat. I'm 6 ft tall average build and the large fits really well. Plenty of useful pockets and very warm well tested in the recent snow. Very happy highly recommended

The component's waterproof properties
With a waterproof rating of 2000 mm, the 500 warm waterproof parka provides excellent protection from the rain.We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood by the fabric, the more waterproof it is. Components with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting 2 hours).
