Bought this for my son who’s into second year sailing and starting in the colder months, easy to order cheap compared to named brands so I bought two one child size and one adult size, excellent construction warm bright and reliable will be used continuously. Great buy
I use this as an extra layer over the wetsuit in colder canyons. Keeps me warmer, and helps shed the water. Surprisingly tough, no holes so far. Highly recommended.
We have just joined a sailing club and my kids need some gear. Bought this for my daughter and I am so pleased at how well made it. We had borrowed a friends one before, but this is so much better. Adjustable waist, wrist and neck makes it comfortable and durable.

I wanted something for SUP but I wanted to stay warm and this was perfect. I wore a 2.2 wetsuit and a life jacket and even when I was on and off the bored for a good 2 hours in May I was still warm. Although I did have to take the first order back as the side body tigheners where very weak and they broke just by pulling on them slightly. But I got a replacement there and then so I'm not complaining.
As expected from decathlon products this jacket/smock offers exceptional value given its price. This was bought for spring/autumn kayaking in both lochs and sea. I personally find this smock too warm and is not very breathable. Originally I bought it to go over a wet suit but have only used in this once in this configuration due to overheating. On the plus side it’s extremely waterproof and you can achieve a good seal around the neck and wrists.
Awesome waterproof & windproof jacket used for kayaking. Good quality, well made and fits well( XL 6ft 1 & 15.5 ish stone). Excellent value for money. Top tip: if wearing over wetsuit fold up neoprene waistband to aid removal.
This is a great smock for the price. It’s well constructed and it’s adjusts easily and precisely. Good seals and fits well. I’m 6ft and 100kg with a bit more of my height in my body and this is the perfect size for me. Looks smart too.

This smock has been approved in a simulator reproducing the conditions of MODERATE RAIN- Moderate rain corresponds to a flow of 60 L/m2/h - (rainfall of 60 mm/h) for 2 hours- Component resistant to water pressure of 2,000 mm after aging (= 2,000 Schmerber - average pressure exerted by water during a downpour)- 100% taped seams.- The design of the extremities (adjustments and components) helps stop water getting in

The collar with its stretch components can be adjusted in 2 movements:* close the half zipper using the pull cord and positioning the ”accordion” pleats inside the waterproof fabric (depending on the shape of your neck, it is recommended to tuck the fabric in to avoid wrinkles)* close the smooth outer component using the rip-tab.

For more waterproofing, less wind entry and greater freedom of movement:* the waistband is made of stretch neoprene, adjustable by two rip-tabs positioned on the right and left of the hips* the cuffs are made of a smooth, stretchy and waterproof component, adjustable by a rip-tab (for small wrists, the thin fabric allows a clean fold).

There are 2 small fabric straps sewn on each side of the neoprene waistband. They are for hanging or attaching gloves (hanging them by their rip-tabs), to keep them out of your way before or after practice.

The size of the shoulder pocket was designed so as not to be cumbersome or too heavy in order to not hinder maneuvers or movement.Its design and tests were therefore carried out with a standard size penknife, a rope and a snack (2 cereal bars). The contents remain stable in the pocket and remain accessible.
Product testing
Developed and tested by our design teams in Hendaye, France.Tested for training and yacht racing by the 47°Nautik sailing school (Gulf of Morbihan, Brittany - France) during the 2016 season.
Storage instructions
Once dry, store on a hanger or folded.After use, rinse in fresh water to remove any salt that could damage the rip-tabs and zippers.Do not dry directly on heat sources (such as a radiator).
