obligatory not a judo athlete. im actually a BJJ practitioner but i do enjoy really heavy gis to train in and 99% of bjj gis are nowhere near what a good double weave judo gi is. so here i am. gi is exceptionally heavy and well made. i train in it pretty frequently with no signs of deterioration. and the price is so good (75 dollars on sale) that i bought 2 of them. sizing is whats most surprising. they tend to run pretty large. atleast coming from a bjj perspective where gis tend to be a little more snug. im 5'8 170 lbs. 40 inch chest and 30 inch waist with a 30 inch inseam. my size option was out of stock. so was the next several size options. so i went with the next best which was the 5'2 option. and surprising it fit pretty spot on. sleeves are about an inch or 2 too short but everywhere else it fits pretty well. pants were bang on. so if i were to have my pic i would probably go to the size 5'4 for the perfect fit. for the money, it really cant be beat. i actually did a pretty in depth review of this with pictures included if you want to see more detail -------- https://www.reddit.com/r/bjj/comments/qdxik6/with_winter_approaching_for_those_that_want_a/
Bought this Gi a while back and have used it every week since. Feels great to train in and is true to size. Would definitely recommend purchasing one and would also get another if they decide to make a blue judogi. Overall very happy and great value for money.

Definitely up to par with mainstream Judo Gi brands. Currently at 180cm with other gi brands, got a 175 on the Outshock gi. Minimal shrinkage after one wash, fit was perfect. Using it now in BJJ classes as well. Highly recommended.
It was exactly what we needed, and came with very good quality.

Dobré kimono za rozumnou cenu. Tvrdý límec, který nepovolí ani po několika vypráních. Po prvnim vyprání trochu povolila látka ve spodni části. Velikost odpovídá, jen pro ženu je vršek trochu větši, ale nevadi to.

Ich habe mir den Anzug als Zweitanzug für die Bezirksliga bestellt, meine Auswahlkriterien waren Zwischengröße, Festigkeit und Preis. Das habe ich bekommen: Mit meinen 1,77 m, bis 73 kg habe ich mich für einen 175 cm Gi entschieden. Der Anzug passt mir wie die Faust aufs Auge, und das ist - wer sich mit Judoanzügen auskennt, wird verstehen was ich meine - schon mal eine Erwähnung wert. Ich hatte Anzüge von Danrho in der Größe 170, die mir viel zu weit waren und einen Anzug von DAX in 180, dessen Ärmel mir nach dem Waschen nur noch bis zum Ellenbogen gingen. Einzig ein 175 von Ippon passt mir noch heute perfekt, deshalb musste es ein 175 sein. Auch nach dem zweiten Mal waschen passt mir der Anzug von Decathlon noch perfekt, und auch wenn er noch um 3 % eingehen sollte, würde er sehr gut passen. Der nächste Punkt ist die Qualität: Die Hosen sind an den Knien verstärkt, was aber mittlerweile der Standard für jede Judo-Hose sein sollte. Die Jacke ist mit seinen knapp 1 kg/ m2 ein massives Kaliber, das Rever fühlt sich sehr stabil und steif an. Hier tauscht man Bewegungsfreiheit und Leichtigkeit/Geschwindigkeit gegen einen wirklich fies zu greifenden Anzug, für den einen der Gegner verfluchen wird. Ob man das fürs Training oder das Randori braucht, ist jedem selbst überlassen, aber für den Wettkampf kann das goldwert sein. Preislich kann ich nicht behaupten, dass ich jemals so einen schweren Anzug zu so einem niedrigen Preis gefunden habe. Bei anderen Herstellern zahlt man für dieses Gewicht und diese Qualität mindestens das Doppelte. Gut ist außerdem, dass auf dem Anzug keine unnötige Beschriftung (Markennamen usw.) aufgestickt sind. Das Judo Zeichen am unteren Rever und der sehr kleine Outshock-Schriftzug auf der Schulter sind dezent und stören dabei nicht. Fazit: Ich kann diesen Anzug jedem Wettkämpfer und jeder Wettkämpferin uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wer nicht versessen darauf ist, auf der Brust ein Mizuno oder Ippon zu tragen, bekommt hier für einen fairen Preis ein sehr gutes Produkt.

The grammage is the weight of a fabric per square meter. For judo, it's best to have a uniform in durable fabric that holds up during not only grips but in the wash as well!That's why we chose a fabric in 75% cotton and 25% polyester: it holds up better to pulling and washing.With a grammage of 2.2 lbs/sqm, the high-quality fabric is well-suited to regional and national competitions (not IJF-certified).
A collar and fabric that are suited to competing:
During competitions, the more resistant your uniform is to pulling, the more difficult you are to hold. We created this uniform with a grammage of 2.2 lbs/sqm and a very rigid collar to make it easier to get out of holds.The front of the collar is curved for a more elegant look. This means your uniform jacket fits your body and will naturally lie in a closed position.
About the 900 judo uniform
For competitions, we created a fitted uniform suited to your practice: the sleeve length, looseness at the shoulders and fitted waist let you move with ease. With its rice grain and diamond patterns and sleek design, it follows the traditional judo codes.And the bottoms? They are more durable at the knees for floor combat and have a traditional tie at the waist.

Our size chart takes uniform shrinkage into account, which is between 3% and 6% depending on how you wash it.Choose the judo uniform that corresponds to your measurements - there's no need to buy up a size.For ultimate comfort, our judo uniforms are available in sizes 160 cm to 200 cm.
How to take care of your uniform
We suggest airing out your uniform after every use. To keep it white, be sure to wash it regularly. One pointer: Wash it on cold the first few times. When you dry it, it's best to let it air-dry and never use the dryer.
