A very versatile neoprene top. top spec kit at a very affordable price. This top is perfect for when the water in the UK is warm like it is now(September) and will be fantastic on early holidays to the med I use it for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking I can highly recommend it.
Had to order two sizes to get right size, but was brilliant for keeping me warm enough to supervise my children in the sea on a typical (ie cool) British summer's day! Would be great if it had something to attach to shorts. Highly recommended.
Das Material ist prima und die Verarbeitung für die '900'-Serie erfahrungsgemäß fop. Da im Bauchbereich jedoch ein schlechter Schnitt(deutlich zu weit) gewählt wurde, liegt das Shirt im Wasser somit nicht an und man wird ab der Brust kalt. Schade! Es wurde super flexibeles Material verwendet, warum dann so viel Neopren am Bauch?

Ich habe das Oberteil als Low Budget Winter Neo Variante unter meinem 4/3 Neo angehabt plus Haube und habe bei 2-3h surfen im März in der Nordsee (5-7Grad) nicht ansatzweise gefroren. Natürlich ist man ganz schön dick eingepackt was die Bewegungsfreiheit etwas beeinträchtigt, aber das ist verschmerzbar, denn dafür ists warm und günstig ;) das top sollte nur ebenso wie der Neo wirklich eng liegen.
18 Monate zum exzessiven kitesurfen verwendet. Absolut keine Mängel. Sogar der Kragen hält den Bart gut aus. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen.
Habe das Oberteil bei einer Temperatur von 25C beim Surfen in Indonesien getestet und UV Schutz war gegeben. Auch bei 3h im Wasser wurde mir nicht kalt. Leider rutscht es jedoch bei mir am Bauch nach jeder Welle wieder hoch, weswegen ich es leider nicht gebrauchen kann. Der dafür vorgesehene Gummizug am Bund funktioniert leider nicht so gut wie ich gedacht habe. Vielleicht müsste es einfach am Bauch enger geschnitten sein. Sehr schade!
Lo utilizo para la práctica de Sup en invierno y tiene mucha movilidad en los brazos. Y las costuras están tan bien rematadas que no molestan para nada. Muy recomendable

La uso para barrancos poco acuáticos y en cuevas; evitando llevar la chaqueta; en mi caso, muy bien, ligera y práctica.
En el interior de la prenda pone que es 500, no 900 como pone en la descripción del producto. Me siento engañado. No lo he probado, pero si compro una cosa más cara para que sea más cálida, no quiero recibirla de menor aguante térmico y encima engañando.

Antes que nada muchas gracias por dejarnos tu opinión. Desde este año este top de neopreno ha pasado de ser gama 500 a pasar a ser gama 900 gracias a su tecnicidad y diseño para la práctica del surf. Es por eso que se ha tomado la decisión de reestructurar la gama y que este top pase a nuestra gama 900 de experto. El motivo que te haya llegado la etiqueta con la descripción 500 es solamente por el Stock que seguimos teniendo antes de hacer la subida de gama. Pero en diseño, tecnicidad, materiales, durabilidad, color, etc. sigue siendo la misma sino que ahora la encontrarás en nuestra gama más técnica. Si aún así estás descontento te invito a acercarte a cualquiera de nuestras tiendas para hacer la devolución del producto sin ningún problema.

Aporta calor y se adapta al cuerpo. El único pero es que las costuras de los brazos resultan incómodas.
Lo esperaba un poco mas ajustado en la zona superior y de las axilas, pero el detalle de no tener costuras en esa zona lo hacen muy confortable. Si pretendes usarlo como capa interna de un neopreno largo conviene quitarle la trabilla del elástico inferior
Estupenda prenda. En mi caso la devolví.porque también había pedido uno de manga corta para comparar y al final me decidí por este último. Pero es una gran opción igualmente.
Es cómodo y me protege del frío en invierno.

How to choose your uv protection t-shirt (part 1)
All of our UV-resistant T-shirts are UPF 50+, i.e. they have the maximum level of sun protection. The choice between them will therefore be made based on the length of the sleeves and will depend on what it will be used for. The constraints are greatest for surfing, so we decided to build our range primarily for surfing. For surfing, the choice will be made according to the duration of your sessions: 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours.
How to choose your uv protection t-shirt (part 2: according to the duration of the session)
1 hour: Occasional practice. You can choose between a loose fit (priority to ease of dressing and comfort when dry) or a fitted cut (priority to comfort when wet). A loop system to connect it to the shorts ensures the stability of the product.2 hours: Regular practice. Comfort when wet is enhanced by the seamless panels under the arms and the drawstring, which further increases stability.3 hours: Intensive practice. Additional warmth to help you stay in the water for longer.
Warmth and wind
The minimum water temperature recommended for the use of this UV-protection T-shirt is 72°F if it is worn on its own. Max. session length: 3 hours.This top is entirely made of neoprene to provide warmth even in windy conditions. This top can also be worn under a wetsuit.
Neoprene: how does it work?
By trapping a thin layer of water around the body, a wetsuit works in 2 ways: 1- The trapped water gradually warms up 2- The transfer of heat is reduced The wetsuit and the film of water thus form an insulating layer.
Materials
This Tribord 900 neoprene top is made of 100% neoprene to ensure even better thermal insulation. The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for added resistance to wear. Neoprene thickness: 2 mm. Neoprene is a closed-cell polychloroprene elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties. We test and guarantee the thermal quality of our neoprene materials.
Reduced chafing
This neoprene top helps limit rubbing and chafing due to contact with the surfboard or bodyboard. It can also be used under a wetsuit to limit chafing, particularly around the neck and armpits. We have added seamless panels under the arms to limit irritation due to paddling movements. Our test protocols confirmed that irritation was indeed limited during 3-hour sessions.
Support system
The Tribord top has a drawstring at the hips. This lets you tighten the top so that it stays firmly in place. It has also been designed so that the drawstring of your boardshorts can be attached to it to stop the top from riding up while you surf.
Choose the right size
A neoprene top must be a tight fit for the most effective thermal insulation. It is perfectly normal to have the impression it is too tight when trying it on in a fitting room or at home. This discomfort quickly disappears once the top gets wet.
Uv protection even when wet
The fabric of this TRIBORD UV-resistant product blocks at least 98% of UVB radiation and 95% of UVA (UPF 50+). In compliance with the EN-13758-2 standard, it guarantees effective protection from the sun. It can be used both in and out of the water, for water or nautical sports.
Product testing
Developed and tested by our design teams in Hendaye, France. The fabrics used for this product are laboratory tested to ensure the best possible quality and durability.
Storage instructions
In a dry, ventilated place. Avoid heat sources. To extend the life of your top, do not leave it out to dry in direct sunlight. Machine washing is not recommended.
