Good liner gloves

Only real complaint is a bit of roughness on the inseams at the base of the fingers. These are excellent for use standalone for relatively mild weather conditions where you are simply out and about or running and serve as an excellent base layer paired with an overglove or mitten for more extreme weather.

Meh...

They are cheap, they are wool and they are a decent glove liner. I got these to wear under some waterproof gloves to help if my hands got clammy. I also wanted the tech touch for when I took my older, but warmer gloves off to use my phone. The only problem I really had was that the index finger touch tech piece kept twisting around and I had to realign it constantly. I think they is an issue with the stitching or design... It’s pretty annoying. The price is great, but I think I’ll try something else in the future.

Excellent gloves

I have Raynaud's syndrome so I needed some gloves that I can wear on chilly days without losing dexterity. This are perfect thin, enough to not be cumbersome but still warm. Highly recommended

Warm inner gloves

Welcome addition to help keep my hands warm on icy winter walks. They fit well and so far wash well with no concerns

Liners or gloves

Wanted something like this for cycling and as a liner when out walking in cold weather

Good product

Do as they are expected to

Uneuseful for me, no warmth provided

Even though it was mild spring weather when I used them, my hands were freezing, hence I considered them unuseful and returned them as quick as possible.

Merino Gloves

A perfect fit, very warm. Have used alone for outdoor hikes and under cycling gloves. Excellent.

Merino Gloves

A perfect fit, thin enough to wear comfortably under outer gloves.

Nearly

These are beautiful, light and thin. They offer a light weight layer for use as a liner or on it's own. At first, I though the addition of hte 'grip' mesh on the index finger and little finger edges of the hand were unnecessary. However, within 6 months (July to Christmas) of light wear, it is peeling off and I worry that it will damage the glove underneath. I expect better than 6months use out of Decathlon products, this is dissapointing.

Great product at a realistic price

Have several pairs of under gloves and these are top notch. Especially like he touch screen computability so you can leave on to answer the phone etc. Even bough a pair forwife as they were soo good.

Comfortable

Nice lightweight gloves for cold, but not very cold weather. Work well as liners too.

Cold synthetic

Looks beautiful, but non pleasant synthetic feeling for skin and it’s not warm at all, not suitable for temperature below +5

Merino Wool Liner Gloves

Good but would like an associated overglove so they can act a liners. I use them on their own and in very cold weather they are not adequate on their own .

A suitable outfit

When physically active, the body produces heat. This is preserved via the thermal insulation of the outfit. If your clothing is unsuitable, the body will get colder and blood flow to the hands will drop in order to retain heat in the central core. Gloves and clothing must be suitable to keep hands at a comfortable temperature. If you're unsure about the size, it's always better to opt for a pair of hiking gloves that are slightly too big than too small.

Warmth

This liner glove, worn under a hiking glove, provides you with an additional 5°F of warmth. This corresponds to the ambient temperature at which 100% of testers felt comfortable. For better protection, we recommend that you wear gloves over the liner glove.

How is the temperature rating measured?

All our gloves are laboratory-tested using a thermal hand to determine their level of insulation and minimum temperature rating. The temperature ratings (normal and limit) come from a study carried out with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 41°F to -4°F and 6 mph winds. These temperatures are only valid when walking.

Dexterity of gloves

The dexterity of a glove is its ability to manipulate objects. Our gloves have been scored in the laboratory on a scale of 1 to 5. The closer the dexterity rating of the glove is to 5, the more you can handle things with the gloves as if they were off. In particular, we tested how easy it is to get a jacket on and open it.

Origin of the wool

We only use wool from Merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practice mulesing. We decided to build a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare and the environment. We have full traceability, which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool. More information: https://www.forclaz.fr/merinos-2019-bp_4128

Odor control

Wool from Merino sheep naturally controls the spread of bacteria that cause bad smells. It can therefore be worn several days in a row, which means you can take less clothes when backpacking!

How to wash your merino wool liner gloves

We recommend that you machine wash your merino wool liner gloves at 86°F on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat. NEVER tumble dry. For more information: https://www.forclaz.fr/conseils/comment-laver-mon-tee-shirt-de-trek-en-laine-merinos-tp_1550

Has the rain got inside your liner gloves?

Has the rain got inside your liner gloves? dry them in a dry place but avoid placing them on a heat source. This could damage the fiber and they could lose their shape!

Warning!

These gloves do not protect against the spread of viruses or microbes.
