I already have the PR990 Precision Soft padel bat, which I like, but I saw there was a new model in the PR990 Hybrid Soft. This combines the the Precision model with the Power model. I have used it 4 times, now, and am very pleased with the performance. It provides greater power and more spin in a very nicely weighted and balanced bat. I also have an Adipower 1.9 Control bat (which cost more than double the amount of the Kuikma bat) but I prefer the PR990 Hybrid Soft. Highly recommended! Thank you, Decathlon.
Para mi que soy principiante, es un salto de calidad. Materiales de gama alta sin dejarse un riñón y teniendo un poco de las características de las grandes marcas. Adaptandome aún, pero muy contento. Encima aproveché oferta.

Pala con gran salida desde el fondo de pista, ligera para la volea y a la que le falta algo potencia en los remates.
Carece de potencia, para mover la bola en condiciones.
Muy buena en el fondo de la pista, delante en la red le falta un poco de consistencia, se nota algo liviana.

Our Kuikma PR990 rackets are approved by Horacio Alvarez Clementi. Horacio, a former World No.1 and international coach, put his experience to work and performed several product tests. This allowed us to make the final adjustments to offer a full range of high level technical rackets.
How we design our products
Kuikma is a team of passionate padel players.Our research centre is based in Spain and is specialised in design and engineering. Its role is to identify users' needs and feed them back to our design centre in France. Following tests conducted with Horacio Alvarez Clementi, we then tested the bat durability at our design centre lab.These tests mean that we can thoroughly check the quality of our products.
A top of the line racket at this price, how is that possible?
At Kuikma, we don't want to make padel players pay extra for things that add nothing to their game.Being both designers and retailers minimizes the number of middle-men during the manufacturing and distribution of our rackets.This also lets us reduce our communication costs (campaigns and sponsoring). Trying out the products and word-of-mouth recommendations by players are the best types of communication we could ask for.
Product testing
Our research centre is based in Spain and is specialised in design and engineering. Its role is to identify users' needs and feed them back to our design centre in France. The prototypes are tested on padel courts by users who represent that particular need. Their durability is then tested in the lab at our design centre. These tests mean that we can thoroughly check the quality of our products.
