Hi, I am new to padel but I have been playing tennis for more than 14 years. I bought this racket one month ago and I can only say beautiful things. The materials employed by Decathlon are great. The EVO instead of Foam is more durable and stiffer. Plus the Carbon 12K is great. If you would like to buy the same materials in a more famous brand you would end up paying more than 180 EUROS. Therefore, this is a great tool, highly technical materials and cheap price. This Padel racket is great for power, however, be mindful that is not very forgiven. You need to have good to great technical skills to use it. NOT FOR EVERYBODY. Moreover, be mindful that it is quiet heavy racket. When I bought it was weighting 372 grams, however, when I did add an overgrip it jumped to 379 grams which is quiet heavy if you are not used to it.
Mucha potencia, muy dura, esto hace que sea un poco complicado jugar al principio con ella

La pala no ha durado ni 5 meses, suena cascarrillo , es la primera vez que me pasa con una pala de padel. Los 3 primeros meses funcionó muy bien.

A la pala le empezaron a salir manchas en la pintura con tan solo dos partidas. Fui a cambiar el producto por uno igual y las dos que tenían en la tienda estaban también en malas condiciones. Una rozada y otra golpeada con el protector de arriba mal pegado. Creo que decathlon debería de cuidar los productos de su marca e intentar que vengan con una mejor calidad, ya que parece que estés comprando productos de segunda mano. Hice el pedido online de nuevo, esperando que venga en buenas condiciones esta vez...

La pala en si está muy bien, pero es algo justa en potencia, muy bien en control.
Probada gracias al servico de test durante dos partidos. Personalmente me ha resultado más cómoda y rápida que la hybrid hard, sobretodo en la red.
Para mi gusto le falta algo de potencia pero es una pala que funciona correctamente
Muy buen manejo
Muy buena pala, de la gama más dura y con la forma de diamante muy orientada a la potencia. Se la nota cabezona, pero aún así cuando te habitúas a la distribución de pesos puedes tener buen control.

Our Kuikma PR990 rackets are approved by Horacio Alvarez Clementi. Horacio, a former World No.1 and international coach, put his experience to work and performed several product tests. This allowed us to make the final adjustments to offer a full range of high level technical rackets.
How do we design our products?
Kuikma is a team of passionate padel players.Our research centre is based in Spain and is specialised in design and engineering. Its role is to identify users' needs and feed them back to our design centre in France. Following tests conducted with Horacio Alvarez Clementi, we then tested the bat durability at our design centre lab.These tests mean that we can thoroughly check the quality of our products.
A top of the line racket at this price, how is that possible?
At Kuikma, we don't want to make padel players pay extra for things that add nothing to their game.Being both designers and retailers minimizes the number of middle-men during the manufacturing and distribution of our rackets.This also lets us reduce our communication costs (campaigns and sponsoring). Trying out the products and word-of-mouth recommendations by players are the best types of communication we could ask for.
Product testing
Our research centre is based in Spain and is specialised in design and engineering. Its role is to identify users' needs and feed them back to our design centre in France. The prototypes are tested on padel courts by users who represent that particular need. Their durability is then tested in the lab at our design centre. These tests mean that we can thoroughly check the quality of our products.
