Adult Scooter Child Carrier

The concept is great. And on the largest Oxelo scooters it will work. But on the T7 there are two problems: 1) because it’s more compact, when folded the carrier step needs to be positioned much further back. Which means it’s nearly impossible to fit both your foot and the step on the base. I have size 8 feet and they barely fit. 2) it also means you need to cut up and destroy the grip on the base. Which ruins the aesthetic.I’m not convinced the Velcro will last either.

Enjoyed using this for a few months, then the glue let go and it fell off my kickscooter. Glad it didn't happen when kid was standing on it in traffic. health and safety issue.

I can’t talk to the longevity of the product, and I’ll probably not be removing the stand very often, but it’s brilliant so far. Very sturdy and exactly what I’m after for me and the lad.

I was pleased with this carrier, it made my school run easier... until the adhesive worn off and my little one fell off the scooter after about 3 months...:(

The adhesive has worn off after a couple of months, but otherwise this is pretty much you only option. In regards to purchasing anything from Decathlon... Terrible experience! I genuinely recommend that you avoid purchasing ANYTHING from this company. They are damn near impossible to make contact with, and will make zero effort to resolve any issues you may have once they have your money. I purchased the child step attachment and was charged twice. The original purchase was fine; I placed an order online, received an email confirming my order and payment was taken from my PayPal account shortly after. 2 weeks later I received a new order confirmation and another payment was taken from my PayPal account. Within minutes a follow-up email was received stating that this addition order was cancelled, however the money was never returned!!!!

We bought 2 Oxelo town 9s with Child carriers. Absolutely fantastic. We went on a business trip with 2 children aged 5 and 8. We couldn't have done it without them. A massive thank you.

Great addition - the kids love riding on the scooter and it still remains fully usable

The previous reviewer is correct, the new version of the town 7xl does not fully fold, if you follow the instructions and place the carrier close to the front. It has to sit quite far back. The French video decathlon had posted belowbelow an older version of the town 7xl. But for only £8 you can't complain!!

As good an idea as this is, I was told it would fit my Town 7xl. The issue is that when the platform is on it is impossible to fold the scooter up so you can’t store it easily. Major design issue in my opinion.

Twice i have purchased this product and you can't peel off the the paper to the adhesive to stick the tray too the scooter, this has happened to both products, not happy can't use it .
