Really love the color. The suspension works well, easy to fold, personally I need two thumbs to unlock the clip for folding back, but I would say the scooter is overall easy to use. Better to have built-in lights or bell, though.
decent quality quality build brakes need to be used for front & back when stopping downhill - cos i'm heavy the scooter could be lighter - compared to bigger brands with more use of plastics & less metals alloys.
This is very good product with good quality, great design. We ride in the park and in the yard - it's a pleasure!
I bought this to replace the old oxelo 7 town scooter and despite this new one having a much fancier design and a hand brake it's not as good. The old oxelo is 3 years old and a smoother ride than this new design. It's not a bad scooter by any means, if I hadn't tried the old one I'd be none the wiser!
I bought this scooter last week and love it. It gives you a good workout; is fun and saves the environment at the same time. I use it for short trips and my son and I love going out for scooter rides together. Only negative is It says on the website that it comes with a carry strap but I didn’t get one with mine!
Very good
Really well built scooter which can withstand some really rough handling / conditions. Can easily support an adult up to 100 KG weight or is even comfortable for a kid who is minimum 4 feet tall. Conveniently folds so that you can either tuck it under the bed or in the boot of a car.

Good
The rear suspension is the feature that I like the most. It provide a better comfort on footpath as compared to other non-rear suspension scooters. Other then comfort, the weight is tolerable even for weak and skinny user and folding mechanism is simple. However, the front suspension is too hard to feel any improvement. new riders need to beware of the breaks as they are much weaker as compared to bikes, and the wheels can be slippery on wet surface. In the end of the day, any up slope is every kick scooter's enemy! (affect glide distance drastically)

Decathlon is always our go-to sport store since my daughter can try out items they sell there. We have been eyeing for the Mid7/Mid9 scooter, but to no luck since it's Christmas season, it is freakin' sold out. So we had to select the higher model. I hope you have more stocks and more stores nationwide!
Excellent scooter very smooth ride
I've had my Town7 a couple of years now. I took the handlebar brake off and customised the scooter with a respray. Mostly I use it to accompany my kids around the city. It's fun, good exercise and much quicker than walking. The scooter has proved durable and robust. I particularly appreciate the suspension. What would I change? Well, it's a bit on the heavy side if you have to carry it - an aluminium version would be even better!

Are there any particular safety precautions to take when using the town 7xl scooter?
You should always wear protective equipment (helmet, knee pads and elbow pads) when scootering. Most serious accidents take place during the first few months of use: Take the time to learn the basics of use to master speed and braking in any emergency situation and whatever the weather conditions (particularly on wet terrain).
What is the glide quality like on the oxelo town 7 xl?
We have equipped this adult scooter with large 200 mm high bounce PU rubber wheels. This makes it ideal for any journey. A large wheel makes it easier to build up speed with minimum effort. The ABEC 5 bearings are very high quality to limit the amount you have to push yourself along, as well as limiting fatigue.
How should you maintain your scooter?
The wheels and bearings are wearing parts. Remember to check them and change them if necessary. You can repair and extend the lifespan of your scooter with spare parts that can be ordered through your local Decathlon store's Workshop.
Suspension for comfort
To meet your needs and provide maximum user comfort, the Town 7 XL is equipped with two suspension systems: one at the front and one at the rear. These suspension systems greatly reduce the discomfort caused by uneven roads or pavements.
Brakes and mudguard: handy for town
The Town 7 XL scooter from Oxelo has a brake on the handlebar and a second brake on the back wheel. This second brake comes in the form of a long mudguard that covers much of the wheel.

What should you do if there's play in the handlebar?
What with bumps in the road, repeated jarring and vibrations, it's normal for certain parts to come loose. You can have all of the screws tightened at your local decathlon workshop or do so yourself with the Allen keys provided (designed to fit all of the scooter's parts).
