With their natural rubber cupsole, these skate shoes provide optimal grip on the deck.
Are these skate shoes durable?
The cupsole sole has been glued then sewn to minimize tearing. All seams are double-stitched. The tear-resistant leather upper provides good resistance to the repeated stresses of riding a skateboard.
What is a cupsole?
The cupsole is composed of 3 parts: an outsole, midsole and insole. Cupsoles are not heated, but are stitch bonded to the shoe to make them sturdier than a vulc sole. This process creates a longer-lasting sole with better cushioning and resistance to wear. The support is also better than on a shoe with a vulcanized sole.
