very good quality set
Easy to carry around bag ready for snorkeling on a different Caribbean beach each day of my cruise. Didn't need to use the flippers, though they fitted me well. Pleased I bought in advance and they fitted easily in my case.
Took this kit on holiday for snorkelling with sea turtles.. whilst the snorkel and mask are great... they are the worst fins I've ever used. Useless. Better off without.
The one star is for the online service not the product because they didn't arrive when they were supposed to (in time for our holiday). They arrived while we were away 9 days after placing the order!!! (and 3 days after cancelling the order, which they ignored). The order consisted of several other items like swim wear, googles etc we had hoped to take on holiday. I really like the Decathlon products i have had in the past but our nearest store is Sheffield which is a 45 min drive away so I thought the online option made sense - how wrong was I.
This is a great product and very well priced my daughter found them comfortable easy to wear and to use.

This is perfect for snorkelling... great price too Everything fits exactly
Used it non stop for 2 weeks in Greece. Worked perfectly. Flippers fit nicely in the case.
Had great fun with these snorkels and flippers. They come with their own carry bag which I managed to add a few more items to. Light enough to put in your suitcase. Fit was fine,
the snooker is cheap and has no valve on to stop water entering so one gets a mouthful of water should you forget to blow it out.

You are correct, this particular set doesn't have a valve for purging the water from the snorkel, this is because it is the first price model (£11.99) designed to make the sport as accessible as possible, allowing people to experience it for the first time. If you plan on snorkeling more regularly, then I would recommend a the R'gomoove kit which has a snorkel with a purge valve + ergonomically designed fins:

Mid range product, good for beginners. If you want to save money, go for it. Fins are a little bit short but mask quality is good and effective.

What is the skirt for?
The skirt is the soft part in contact with your face. The silicone rim conforms to the shape of your face, creating a watertight seal.
Polycarbonate lens
The polycarbonate glass is shatterproof. But it is prone to scratching.
Mouthpiece
Part of the snorkel that is placed in the mouth. Its specially designed shape makes it one of the most comfortable snorkels for your mouth.
Breathe easily
With its comfortable mouthpiece and the correct size of the snorkel, you can breathe safely.
Foot pocket
The part of the fin where the foot is placed. It can be completely closed, like in full-foot fins, or open with an adjustable strap, like in adjustable fins.
Why short fins?
The flat part of the palm, called the blade, is short to provide you power in your movements.
How to store your fins?
A little tip: The fins can be clipped together (clips on the toe of each fin) to make carrying easier.
