Good lightweight shorts - random cut of the slits each side - doesn’t impact wearing them or comfort but looks odd vs other side cut shorts - good value for money
Great for warm weather running but pocket is just a touch too small to get my phone in. Managed a couple of gels though.
Ran twice in these shorts, once 8 miles, the other 5 miles. Both times the mesh panel between my thighs chafed the skin and caused redness, swelling and discomfort. I had to apply cream to help the irritation to heal. Its not the inner briefs which cause the problems. It is the outer shorts, where the mesh panel is attached. They may suit some runners, but, regrettably, for me they are unusable. This is the only Decathlon product that I have had problems with over many years. I shall return to the store, who were very helpful, to see if they can offer any further advice.
I was in need of some new running shorts and for the price they were perfect not restricting enough movement in them when running and training!
Have just completed a gentle 4 mile run in these in cool conditions. The inner lining has seriously rubbed by inner thigh leaving a rash on both sides. I would like a refund Decathlon. Can you give me details on how I can return them without going to a shop?
Good product and good value for money
wore for first time today on a 16 mile marathon training run , ended up with rubbed red inner thigh from the inner mesh rubbing on my leg not had this from my other shorts. would not recommend for longer distance runs
Bought for cycling and hill walking mainly but could also be used as beachwear and even swimming shorts, at least occasionally.

Fab running shorts.
These are my husband’s favourite running shorts for all his training - fast intervals to 30km+ runs. He has 3 pairs and runs 120km+ a week mostly in these shorts. He says the best feature is that his phone doesn’t bounce around in the back pocket so zero chafing. He’s a competitive (2:20 marathon) runner so comfortable kit that performs well is important to him and he prefers these to his expensive other shorts. They seem to last well too.
On the face of it these are a good pair of shorts: nice and light, snug fit etc. However, for me, they cause a major problem....There is netting inside to keep your bits in place which works great, but the crotch of the outer material hangs very low below this leaving the inside of my thighs "exposed" which rub against each other and give me a major rash which results in a burning sensation for 24 hours. This clearly doesn´t happen to all, but for me and my legs, it is unbearable!
Again, for the price these are outstanding shorts. Yes they are SHORT, but for racing or fast running that is exactly what you need. Will not pay £30+ for a pair of shorts from other manufacturers and now I don't need to!
Great quality as always. Very snug across the crotch tho. 32 waist here, and a medium is way too revealing.
The elastic of the inner brief has rapidly come loose. I can no longer use these running shorts. Hopefully, this is a one-off quality issue.
