Tent

Tested in the mountains, at 2000 altitude in temperatures approaching zero degrees. In the top. Easy to assemble, to store. Solid!

dwarves / Chinese make a house for themselves

in fact, a complete deception, the size does not correspond to the declared ones - at all - even their own foams are not included there 2, a house for 1 with a child if you take a short rug 120 by 45

Packs small, great quality

The tent has been with me for four years. It has survived days of continuous rain on the Baltic Sea. Inside, according to the weather, clammy but dry, not the usual insane heat when the sun is out and nice and dark to sleep in. Wonderful! It can also be packed small enough in a backpack. The tent is not particularly light, it is the luxury variant for short hiking tours or great for packraft (inflatable boat) tours.

top

I am overall happy with this TREK tent. She deserves a little "more window", even if it is justified to keep a lower weight that is missing compared to other fresh and black.

Price-performance TOP

I'm really excited about the tent. It really fulfills its goal, it is sunproof, not too big, there is even space for 2 people inside and it is easy to transport on a bike. Recommended!

An excellent tent for a great price

I bought this tent a coupe of seasons ago and have used it on several occasions. I primarily use this tent to camp from or with my Sea Kayak, on the Irish coastal mainland, but also have camped on offshore Islands in Ireland. The tent is reasonably light. It is very easy to put up once you are used to it, its robust so far for me. It has never leaked, I've never had a condensation problem (which is a big thing for me as I use a down sleeping bag) and the 'fresh and dark' feature is not a gimick, it works well. I also have a much more expensive MSR Hubba tent for light weight backpacking and while yes it is lighter, I prefer to bring this Decathlon tent when ever I can - which is most of the time. Sure its not as good as a Hilleberg or the likes, but its a fraction of the price of one of those. For the money this is an excellent tent. I'd buy another without hesitation .

I'm glad I bought it

I bought it and went camping. It was a little difficult to assemble, but I think it's just right for one person to use both the living space and the front room. The tent was torn during use, but they sent me a new tent the next day after I contacted them. Thank you for your quick response. I really like the tent itself and I'm glad I bought it.

About the tent

A wonderful thing. She lived in a tent for a month in the Crimea. Withstood together the showers, the sun, the invasion of snails. Hooked in the tent extra. shelves. All belongings fit. The tent was well ventilated. The only thing is that it is quite difficult to look for things even with a flashlight. Mosquitoes are generally unrealistic to catch. When you get into the tent, it became their home. They also appreciated her comfort. The main thing is to fasten the mesh in time.

Not suitable for climbing difficult mountains

In fact, the design of this tent is quite comfortable, suitable for simple and short-distance mountain roads. It is not suitable for long-distance travel, because this tent is 3.1kg, which is considered heavy. Therefore, it is not recommended to use this tent if you want to climb a mountain for 3~4 days.

topper

Went on holiday last year and the tent was very good. I only slept in it and so had plenty of room; for two people it seems very cramped to me. The first nights I had the ventilation hatches open at the bottom, but that gave me a very stiff neck, so unfortunately I had to keep them closed. It is very easy to set up, it only has a few pegs and is immediately taut (unlike cheaper tents).

Disassembly is difficult, many tg

1. Assembling and disassembling the frame is very difficult, because it has to be threaded into the fabric's sheath. Extrusion is very costly compared to plastic hooks for erection. 2. Black plastic head (2 corners of the tent) to start the frame is very difficult to install. 3. The storage bag at the 2 corners is too easy to drop when putting things in it.

A little lighter would be better

After all, it is good to be light because it is heavy.

It delivers what it promises

The tent fulfills everything it promises, I only recommend it to anyone who is going to buy this tent to go camping alone, which is not the most practical model to set up without the help of another person, especially when using the flysheet. Nothing else to report.

Great tent

I liked the ease of assembly, I inserted two rods and it is ready to be rearranged or unfastened with pegs, two tambours are enough for things, the fabric is so dark that the sunlight does not pass, I took it on purpose so that during the full moon I did not look at the ceiling all night, I climbed in here and all night is pitch, light 3 kg in total, although it is not small, the mattress 1.2 by 2 calamus from decathlon lay down just right, there are a lot of pockets and a rope for drying clothes inside, there are ventilation nets for a draft at the head and at the feet that close easily, places for two norms, I took it for myself for one, there is so much in general and I also liked the fabric on the floor so it doesn’t crunch like other tents, I don’t lay anything on it, it doesn’t seem to let damp through, take it, you won’t regret it

Great product!

It's a little heavy (3.1 kg), but it's worth it. Easy assembly, good sized stem for backpacking or cooking. It withstands strong winds and gusts without flapping. It does not condense on the ceiling or sides, if you use the ventilation openings it is even better.
