Good even for daily use, in bad and rainy weather.
I go on outings on agricultural and forestry paths of 3 to 4 hours. Overall the shoe is correct, waterproof and solid, average comfort. Where this is not possible, these shoes hurt above the malleolus, on each side and on both feet, despite attempts at different lacing... Some advice from Decathlon would be appreciated (thank you!)
Good article, comfortable, good grip. But the lacing system is not very practical in its upper part, at the level of the hooks.
The shoes purchased for Canada are not at all waterproof. I have been wearing them for the 3rd day and today it is raining, I was barely outside for 1 hour and my feet are wet unlike my husband and my son. Really very disappointed, I thought I would be safe from the water, what do you suggest?
Decent water-repelling boots with good grip for mountains -works as described. Not suitable for walking over snow - need to be careful with steps but keeps the water out. Might need to re-apply water repellent after multiple usages
after less than 2 months with it comes off and lets water in at the sole.. do not take for everyday wear.

The product description says: "These trekking shoes are manufactured in the EU state of Romania in a factory that specializes in the production of trekking shoes (Grisport)."... Then why does the sewn-in say "Made in UKRAINE"? Not that I don't like that, but it makes production at Grisport (Italy!) seem rather unlikely... Basically: top shoe - but Decat doesn't feel the need to advertise with false provenance information!!
They have good stability, they are comfortable, they hold the ankle well.
I have purchased this from the Decathlon store in Kolkata Salt Lake sector and this is a really perfect item for me till now. Till now done difficult Goecha La, Kinnaur Kailash Trek and three light treks without facing any issues. Highly recommended this item for high altitude treks. Though not tasted in any raining situation.
I have wide feet, I take 2 sizes larger

Advantages and drawbacks of this textile model
Benefits- The synthetic materials are lightweight and flexible giving you unquestionable immediate comfort.- The synthetic materials give good ventilation. This boot’s waterproof level
This boot has been tested and validated for 10,000 flexes repeatable, equivalent to a 15 km walk, in water reaching the mid-upper. This now guarantees a good level of boot waterproofing.--> Our assessment indicates a LEVEL OF 3/5 giving 6 hours of waterproofing when hiking in the rain. Make this boot’s waterproofing last longer
Even though this model has a membrane (waterproof, breathable), it is recommended you use a waterproof spray several times a year to restore the original water-repellent properties and prevent staining--> It revitalises the water-repellent properties of the outer material (water runs off the surface and doesn't soak in). Each fabric section is then sprayed and in particular the seams are not to be forgotten. (water loves the seams!)
Maintain your textile boots step by step
1 / Use a brush and/or a sponge to clean; remove any soil or mud.2/ Then leave to air dry, away from any heat source.3 / Shake the waterproof spray can4 / Spray the product from a distance of 25 cm 5 / Leave for at least 10 minutes.
