Lightweight lots of pockets good length. Completed a trail marathon in them with zero complaints
These are great and I've ordered a second pair after a couple of weeks trying the first. The waistband is the best yet of all the running shorts I've bought - so comfortable, able to tie to the right tension, but with no digging/cutting that can be a problem with narrower waistbands. There's masses of storage space for phones, keys, gels, and small water bottles. My only minor gripe is that bigger or heavier items (like a phone) aren't best placed directly in the front or back pockets - the benefits of a the generous waistband mean that for me, objects sit too low when in the pockets. I've found putting my phone in a 'corner' pocket works well and it sits higher. Smaller items like keys or ear pods are fine in the front and back.
Very comfy shorts. Used on several runs now, pleased with my purchase.

Decathlon Hong Kong Running Team
I have been using Decathlon clothing products for my long runs over the last 3 years. I have done around 10k+ kms in them. These pair of shorts don’t fit properly, if you keep a normal 6inch phone ( iPhone 14) in back waist zipper. It keeps bouncing and rubs in lower waist leading to bruises. Alternatively, you can pull up shorts significantly above stomach and inner lining brief will crush your softer parts over 15+ kms. Also, thick waist band fails on delivering, its just a waste feature doesn’t fulfill the requirements of support and keeping supplies in place. Their marathon shorts have been discontinued, otherwise they were the best. They had thick waist band which prevented bouncing of small bottles/ mobile phones. Also they didn’t have inner brief ensuring a great fit. Request Decathlon team to bring these back.
This short is one of the best product i have used from Decathlon. I have finished my first full marathon ( 42 KM Kolkata marathon) and Kolkata police SDSL Half Marathon recently and several solo half and small run. It is perfect for long run and the back zip pockets perfectly fits my big mobile phone. This one is very comfortable during my runnings. I am happy and Decathlon should continue this product.
They have launched a new product, but sadly, for no good. Number of pockets is increased but their size is reduced to half. Even a small bottle doesn't fit properly. However gels packets can be placed in them. Previous trail running shorts had ample space for two 250ml water bottles. I hope they'll make changes in them.
What a shame it's discontinued. It has excellent fabric and pockets and cut it's. Ideal for a distance run over 10K

I have used this short for running a marathon. Good fabric, no chaffing. Also it is very easy to carry energy gel, bar etc while running. I will recommend this short

Inner liner is too loose to be useful. Thin outer fabric will show when wet with sweat/rain. Separate underwear needed.
