Short on the neck cord, otherwise great

I'll probably replace the short and scratchy neck cord with a longer softer one. Everything else is awesome.

Great product excellent price

These have a great fit and are nice and light. Stay on without moving around. Cannot go wrong for the price. Easily as good as some twice the price

Well worth the price

I was expecting a lesser quality as they are a lot cheaper than other brands, but they're brilliant.

Hi Laura,

Thank you for the 5-star review of the belayer glasses. We appreciate the feedback and can't wait to see you in our store again soon to try out more of our amazing products!

Best wishes,

Very good for the price.

The glasses are great. Never used them before so it’s definitely a good brand to go for. Also, I know people who have more expensive belay glasses and these are the same.

good but lenses as dropped off

Great product for the price but one of the lenses has dropped off.

Dirt cheap and work great but don't drop them!

Fantastic glasses for the money, they really do make all the difference whilst belaying in/outdoors. However, I have had to superglue the lenses back on several times when the have taken a knock. As the plastic frame is quite bendy, the glue easily separates from the frame causing the lens to pop off. It's not a major problem to superglue them back on but can be a bit irritating at the time. Handle with moderate care!

Belay Glasses

For the price these are fantastic and serve their purpose.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your review. We are pleased you like our product. Hopefully see you again soon!

Odd prism glasses - great for checking the ceiling

Very good for belaying, i bought a cheaper version from eBay which didn't work as well and weren't as stylish. You can see under and over these which makes them more practical. no need to take them on and off.

Affordable but chips very easily

Used during one climbing trip and got it chipped in two different places already, it is however by far the most affordable to try.

Really well made and a fraction of the price compared to other brands.

On par with much more expensive glasses.

I've used belay glasses that are 3x this price with a similar look, feel and function. The prisms are bright and clear and you can see around the periferey well. Would totally recommend.

Prisms fall off - not durable, badly made

Thought I was getting a bargain, but alas going cheap once again proves a mistake. These glasses are light and easy to wear, and come with a very handy case that you can clip to your harness but sadly not just one but BOTH prisms have fallen off at different times. We've tried super-gluing them back on but again that only lasts a while. I can only assume it's because of the very soft flexible plastic frames that are simply not designed well enough around a solid glass prism. Such a shame. Customer service however have been excellent so far and have readily agreed to a free return and full refund for the item.

Hi Glyn,

I am sorry that Simond Belayer Glasses did not meet the standards that they should. I am glad that the returns process has been easy for you.

I have sent your feedback to the product engineers so that they can check the stock to make sure this is a one off occurrence.

Many Thanks

Work perfectly, good optical quality and a nice case. Why buy a more expensive pair?

Expensive for an empty box!

Ordered these through click and collect, however, when I got the product home realised I had been sold an empty box. Decathlon have also been very unhelpful in giving me a refund!

Hello Ben,

I am sorry to hear about this incident.

When you received the Click and Collect there should also have been a invoice/ receipt with them. I would recommend going back into store and explain the issue to the Duty Manager who will be in the best position to assist you.

If you are unable to reach your local store easily please contact our Customer Services Team (Link Below) who will be able to talk you through the returns process.

Once again I apologise for the issue you have encountered .
