Good piece of kit and did exactly what I needed it for.
Easy to use
Needed to replace the chain on my bike and this little tool makes the job very quick and simple.
The metal pin got bent when trying to break the chain. Fair enough it wasn't 100% aligned but I was expecting more from this. Cheap quality
I have absolutely no idea why some people are saying this breaks after first use... I purchased this alongside the B'TWIN branded KMC X10-XL 10 speed, and cut through it like butter, with no fuss whatsoever! Excellent.
I wanted this chain tool as a sturdier option than the Btwin 500 chain tool I already have. It looks robust, yet after a couple of uses the pin bent and the tool was not longer fit for purpose. On that basis, I have to give this item a one-star review, which disappoints me as I'm usually very happy with Decathlon products. I eventually returned the damaged tool to Btwin and due to some confusion received a second Btwin 500 instead of the 900 I bought. I can't be bothered to return the duplicate as I've spent enough money, time and effort on an item costing less than £10.

Had tools like this for years but some last a few times then break or the pins bend but this one looks like it will last a long time might even be strong enough to break my motorcycle chain
It got broken on first use. I needed to remove a couple of chains and put them back and I just was able to do one and it was broken. I couldn't believe as I wasn't expecting a life tool, but at least something useful for a while. I got it last week and now I am stuck and withouth bicyle and need to look another way to put chain. I can't recomend this product.
