Good all rounder for summer off-road

Moved to these after using competition cross tyres on my cross bike. Riding more "gravel" type trails (e.g. forest trails) i thought the extra width woudl be a benefit. First impressions were a little about the weight gain on the cross racing tyres, but for "gravel" tyres these aren't heavy. Grip well on most dry loose surfaces, and roll quite well on and off road. Weight makes speed uphill on roads something to be wry of but excellent elsewhere. Price paid was 35% of many of the branded altrernatives, so a sound economic choice. Have grown to like thme especiallyfor mid length mixed surface rides, such as crossing water sheds to klink two minor road ystems.

A bit slippery

Good quality tyre, but a little bit slippery.

Excellent tyre so far

Really happy with this tyre. I ride a gravel bike, mostly on road but often with less-than-perfect surface. This tyre offers enough volume, rolls well on the road but - so far - seems to offer enough rough surface performance for my use.

Buen agarre y precio

A recommander

How to measure tire wear

To measure the wear on your road treys and to know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread. Signs of wear include: - tread starting to fray - the appearance of a series of micro cracks - low tread depth - the carcass becomes visible. In all these cases the tire is worn and needs replacing.

How to remove a tire

To remove your tire, deflate the inner tube until no more air comes out. Once deflated, use a tire lever to remove the tire from the rim.

How to fit a tire

To put the tire back on, place one side of the tire into the bottom of the rim. Next, inflate your inner tube to approximately 30% before putting it into the tire (inflating it beforehand reduces the risk of pinching the inner tube). Then, insert the other side of the tire into the rim, starting on the side opposite the valve. Before inflating the inner tube all the way, check to make sure it isn't pinched between the tire and rim.

How to inflate your tire correctly

Inflate your tire carefully. The recommended pressure is indicated on the tire sidewall and in the product file. Ensure your tire pressure is correct before each ride.

Tip from the pros

When inflating your tire, make sure you inflate it to the suitable pressure for the terrain you will be riding on and the weather conditions you will be riding in. When riding in rainy weather, lower the tire pressure to increase the tire's traction. On the other hand, when riding in dry weather, you can increase the pressure for better performance.
