Product Customer Reviews

we have 2 other tents but they are smaller, wanted one we could stand up in with a reasonable weight for travelling, this one has the front room which will be excellent for storing cooking items and clothing. It is well within size and weight for air travel ( along with sleeping bags etc still no where near 25 kg. friends have one and they swear by the tent.. have only used it the once due to the lockdown issues
Super compact when packed, but surprisingly spacious when assembled. Good resistance to wind and rain. Easy to assemble. Nice padded bags for pegs & poles. Contras; poor ventilation for bedroom area, it can be really hot in summer.
Great tent, pretty easy to set up and bring down for a great price. We had perfect weather so can’t comment on how it would do in the rain but perfect so far
need in pakistan for our summer camping events qty require 50 kindly share the price of 50 tents and shipment cost , how long take to Lahore Pakistan
What can I say it’s lovely and spacious easy to put up and can’t wait to use it Only just thing I’d say is it takes a lot of strength to get the poles in the hooks at the bottom but I’m assuming it’s because it’s new
It says that it is for 4, not sure how 4 would fit in it comfortably. We travel as a couple and a dog, for us its perfect. It is our first professional tent :) we used to use a festival 2 second pop up tent, so it is a massive upgrade for us. Nothing really to blame it for, it has everything a tent needs.
For a complete camping novice this wasn't too difficult to put up , but before i use it for real i will be putting it up again another couple of times. There is a video online to assist you. I would recommend this to other people
i was so disappointed in the set up of the tent, I know its new but the tension on the poles to get the pins into them is ridiculous, I literally used all my strength and failed the first time, I managed to do it the second time after , but later the rear pole buckled under the pressure, so it was kinked.
Very reasonably priced, spacious for two though how four people would live in it is a puzzle. A wrestle to assemble. My main complaint is that you will never ever get the tent back in the tiny bag. Mines now in three bags and I'd think twice about taking it away again as it's too bulky.
Brilliant tent spacious just me and hubby using it and camp beds fit perfectly in the bedroom
Excellent
Spacious tent and good value for the price, tall enough to stand up in the porch. Not the easiest tent to put up and can be a little time consuming get everything lined up properly. It's also very difficult to pack back into the bag; could do with a slightly bigger bag! Withstood the wind and rain and can't fault it for the price.
Very poor , poles didn't fit within fabric correctly to tight almost ripped trying to get pins in. He Returned and purchased the blackout version which is much better
It withstood some tempestuous weather in Cornwall this summer. It is ideal for a couple who want a bit storage space as well and it will sleep 4.
I camp around 4 times a year exhibiting my Modified Sports car, tent I was using had had its day this was on offer, erection was fine,(after eventually getting it out the bag, one suggests the size was at the - end & some of the +/- of the manufacturing tolerances, so once erected when time for Egyptian PT, we were very comfortable, ( I had a camp, Years of doing this in various terrains.. i need some comfort!! these days, :-) ) & was a very good tent for our 3 day show, no complaints although it did not rain, so i cant comment on that, although my son the week after was on holiday with his camper van & had the same brand of Drive Away Awning & that was very good in the heavy rain in Scotland. But when breaking camp, and stowing the tent, as per the video (which has gone now!!!!" the bag ripped, along a seam, Ive been in touch for a replacement, but reading between the lines its too much trouble to have the manufacturer send extra bags with orders ( i do international procurement & make sure as part of a debenture clause we get extra packaging etc as part of any orders) i was offered a gift £15 card but i don't need anything else Ive been offered the shipping back £6.99 but it will cost me more than that to find a replacement. i simply cant be bothered to accept it, (customer service were indeed polite) so In summery the tent was perfectly fine in the instance I've used it (once) however, in the interest of complete Customer service one would say, Decathlon you really need to plan & prepare for instances such as this it happens, (or perhaps be tighter on Product Make Up Specifications) I.e increase the - End of the tolerance of the acceptable scale, as our was very very tight to extract from the bag, as 4 fellow club members 2 had the same tent 2 had the blow up bigger versions, all said the bags had ripped in various degrees, & bought fresh canvas bags to put the tent in. so buying one of those @ £28.99. Product testing
The waterproofing of the QUECHEA tents has been approved with a test of the full tent under a 200 liter water/hour/m² shower (200 mm of rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (=mm Schmerbers) measures the waterproof rating of the fabric only. Our test verifies that no water can get through the seams, flaps, openings, zippers, etc. Wind resistance: We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. Tested in real conditions.
Storage instructions
Storage - after use or cleaning, store the tent only when completely dry to prevent the development of odors or mold.
Care instructions
1 CLEANING: if necessary, use soapy water and rinse (water jet cleaning if possible). Dry thoroughly before storing. 2 RESIN STAIN: very difficult to treat: once the stain has dried, carefully scrape off the resin. Apply an ice cube to the inside. This will make the resin brittle and it will be easier to remove. 3 STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odors and mold from forming.
