Basic Folding Camping Chair

Hubby bought this so he could strum his guitar at the camp fire. (No armrests in the way) It’s comfy to sit in but I’d prefer armrests. Could use storage for a book or drink

Bought one of the previous Grey and Red ones via EBay and glad I did. Great design, very good quality materials, in particular the canvas seat and back. My secondhand one was so good that I’ve bought two more, new, and the quality is still excellent. You could by cheaper with arms and cup holders, but they will let you down once wet a couple of times. The joy of these is that there are no armrests to get in the way, and best of all, based on my experience, these last and last no matter what conditions you use them in.

I prefer these to the ones with the armrests. So much more spacious thus more comfortable.

These chairs are great, light, sturdy, and comfortable

We already have two of these which are great for taking camping. We visited the Stockport store recently but they had sold out so went on line. Chairs are substantial , my husband weighing 103kg and yet they are light to carry. Excellent value for money.

Purchased these as we needed some very lightweight chairs and had purchased these in the past. Unfortunately they've changed the strong Velcro strap that holds them together for carrying to a piece of elastic. This means they don't fold as tight as my older ones do and I can foresee the elastic will give and need to be replaced in the future. Otherwise happy and would have given 5 stars if not for this cheaper modification. Would recommend but would also advise of the elastic issues.

These chairs are so comfortable we have tended to use them for everything. We bought the first green ones years ago for Guide camp - 3 chairs. Then leaders began to comment on how comfortable camping with us was - and we needed 2 more. Then we decided we wanted to keep all five for social use - as that expanded. So we bought 3 Brown ones for the Brownies - and have just gone back for 3 more. Amazing how having comfortable seating attracts more help! These fold up so small you can take loads anywhere. They don't need a bag to carry them as the straps are always attached but never in the way. Folks with back problems much prefer them to the one piece type. The flat feet ensure they work on sand or mud and everything just brushes off them so they stay remarkably clean.
