My son loved it , double layer and so warm , good value of money as well as can keep warm in weather like Uk nowadays
I was so disappointed when I received these... I bought them for myself - I wanted a pair of gloves that would be warm AND nice looking at the same time (usually gloves for women are nice looking... but not very warm). Having small hands I figured this pair would do the trick. They are kinda warm I guess, not as warm as expected but they're okay. But the colour... Oh the colour! :( They are a very ugly grey colour, definitely not the same lovely light grey as shown in the picture. The finish is bad as well, it looks very cheap. Also, this gloves will make your fingers look like small, fat sausages. I mean they're gloves, so that's to be expected most of the time, but with this pair it's bad, really bad. I'll probably dye them black or just sell them, I don't know. Anyway, just don't buy them for the colour, you'll be disappointed.

A suitable outfit
When physically active, the body produces heat. This is preserved via the thermal insulation of the outfit. If your clothing is unsuitable, the body will get colder and blood flow to the hands will drop in order to retain heat in the upper body. The gloves and clothing must be fit for purpose to keep your hands warm. If you're unsure about the size, it's always better to choose a slightly bigger pair of hiking gloves than a pair that is too small. This will be warmer.
