A simple carabiner with a simple job. Works as intended and is very affordable!

Ich verwende die Karabiner für meine Quechua Hängematte in Verbindung mit dem Thermarest Baumschutz. Funktioniert super! Die Karabiner sind leicht, stabil und günstig. Klar, sie sind zwar nicht zum klettern geeignet, aber das habe ich eh nicht vor :) PS: 22kN = 2200KG
Preis hin oder her, ich würde solche Karabiner nicht für Sicherungen einsetzten und verwende dafür bspw. Black Diamond - Magnetron Vaporlock sind fast genauso gut zu bedienen aber m.e. die sichersten überhaupt. Ja, die kosten mehr, aber die 15€ sollte einem das schon wert sein finde ich.

Wir stimmen absolut zu, dass dieser Karabiner mit Schnappverschluss nicht als Sicherungsgerät (wie beispielsweise die HMS-Sicherung) genutzt werden soll. Dies steht auch nirgends auf der Produktseite, denn dafür ist er schlichtweg nicht gedacht. Sein Einsatzbereich liegt klar im Transport von Materialien oder aber auch durch seine hohe Bruchlast in der Erstellung von Express-Sets.

Es ist immer sinnvoll einige dieser simplen Karabiner dabei zu haben, sich aber bewußt sein sie nicht zum Sichern einzusetzen. Einfache Karabiner sind eben nur für Materialtransporte usw. eizusetzen.

Es ist korrekt, dass einfache Karabiner mit Schnappverschluß nicht als Sicherungsgerät, z.B bei HMS-Sicherung, verwendet werden sollen, sondern auf Schraubkarabiner zurückgegriffen werden sollte. Der SIMOND Rocky ist aber ein vollwertiger Karabiner, der sich nicht nur für das Tragen von Material eignet, sondern auch durch die Bruchlast und seinen Keylock-Verschluss z.B. für das Erstellen von Express-Sets,
