Product Customer Reviews

The shoes fit really well. Very good quality of material. Would buy and recommend it again.
Great climbing shoes. Two back tabs rather than one makes it easier to put them on for my 8 yr old. He loves them
I normally wear 43 and I bought these in 42. Sizing is quite small I'd say. I was impressed how comfortable these are from the day 1 esp compared with shoes I used before (miuras). After 6 months of 4x a week indoor bouldering the shoes are as tight as they were (no stretch) also they keept their shape very well. Construction is solid and there's plenty rubber left, perhaps enough for another 6 months. Would I buy these again? Unfortunately no. A huge let down for me is the heel design. Altough in general the shoe is very narrow, heel is both wide and "pointy" . Somehow it still does work with heel hooks etc but doesn't my feet as it should. Another weird thing with the heel design is the "diagonal" bit of rubber that suppose to push the feet forward - it is way too tight and even tho my fingers are already painfully curled in it somehow till pushes my feet to the front, resulting in pointy bottom of heel rubber actually not touching my heel. Make the heel narrower and relax the diagonal rubber band a little. This will make it perfect!
I have had great experience with these shoes. My Street shoes are size UK 7. I got Edge shoes of size UK 6.5. The fit was really comfortable. I could climb long pitches using these shoes and still feel no pain. The toe box fits well and so does the heel. The rubber is really sticky. Smears and edges well. I used to this shoe to project a route of the grade 7c+ and they performed well . I have also done bouldering and crack climbing with these shoes. One of the best shoes I have used. Plus the price point!
Happy to be a user of this performance line shoe from Simond. It is most suited for moderately overhung or vertical sport climbing routes. The performance asymmetric shape of the last gives you a solid and powerful precision. The Vibram XS grip rubber is sticky while smearing on slabs. The rubber is durable and is suitable for warm climate countries like India or south-east Asia. The stiffness is just right. After breaking in, it is soft enough for smearing and doing technical moves on slab and stiff enough for edging on small footholds. The heel construction is decent. The heel fit is always an issue for Indian climbers as their heel are relatively narrower. Not the best shoe to be used indoors due to its relatively lower sensitivity. But, it works well on boulders outdoors. The speed lacing system ensures a snug fit according to your foot shape! This shoe is best suited for a regular intermediate to advanced climber looking for a performance shoe for hard sport or multipitch routes.Definitely not for beginners due to its aggressive shape.
A great shoe for climbing, sticky grip and aggressive shape lends for advanced level of climbing.
These are my first pair been using them for almost 6 months with no complaints. Given that I am a novice, not much technical stuff and no comparison. They are comfortable, like you CAN walk around (though please dont) even in the tropical weather here. The laces give the climber to control exactly how tight or comfortable he wants depending on the climb. Have used them on the slab(s) around Bangalore. The aggressive design gives me the ability to use small crimps as toe holds, load your toe stand up on it and have never slipped. Recently I went for climbing Sandstone crags at Badami and I was comfortable wearing them for hours while figuring out complicated moves on top rope. I got these through a great deal that Decathlon was kind enough to offer to our local climbing group.

Relativ feste, unflexible Sohle
