Product Customer Reviews

I used this jeans for aprox 2 months for indoor and outdoors before they break on an unjustifiable area. I head to the decathlon Stockport custome service and they refuse my claim because "This damage is consequence of wearing". Really desapintment with the customer service and the product. If you read until here, better safe your money and buy some climbing clothes in your local area or other brand, in my opinion this jeans are not made for climbers.
Jeans fit great, really good flexibility for climbing, comfortable, so far have been durable. Adjustable ankle elastic is a great feature. Only improvement would be slightly larger pockets (each pocket can just about fit a phone, or wallet+keys)
Great product thank you
I had a pair of these I loved, they had lighter coloured patches on the knees and looked great as well as being really comfortable climbing trousers. No idea why they changed the style to boring blue but I wish they'd change them back! Bring back the jeans 2 version
Ok Jeans - quite funky looking which I liked but they didnt fit great. Am a bit freaked out by an elasticated waist - makes me feel old!
Had 2 pairs of these and both failed by tearing at the inseam. Really liked them and we're good for all round use and would buy again if they could last for more than a couple of months
These are the most comfortable climbing trousers I own. I have owned these for months and am just as happy wearing them in the pub as I am in the climbing gym. I would highly recommend.
Really nice cut, stretchy and generally quite stylish! Ended up buying a 2nd pair!
I think I’m on my 6th pair over the years, I love these jeans so much - I can where them in the pub then straight on to a Boulder route or to the wall, used them on multi pitches rock routes too. When I’m hanging out in places like Chamonix, Arco etc I live in these jeans and only change out when I’m on more technical routes or when doing mixed alpine stuff. Pub, boulders, multi pitch rock, clubbing and just chilling you will find me in these.
Really disappointed, i have had variations of these from Decathlon for a long time - the last pair i had wore out on the crotch area within 12 months, whilst this did seem a bit quick to wear i was ok with that as they were my go to climbing trouser so had had a fair bit of use - I bought a new pair 3 weeks ago and was apprehensive looking at the reviews for this model as many had mentioned the crotch wear - the first time wearing these jeans the fabric marks really badly under minor abrasion of course as a climbing jean you are going to rub the fabric against hard surfaces, this is un avoidable but i do think the fabric is far worse than previous models and makes them un fit for purpose - don't recommend
I have had to patch these trousers many times as they seem to disintergrate. I would recommend you do not buy.
These jeans are great to climb in with good flexibility, but wear quickly in the crouch.
My second pair of simond jeans that have ripped around the crotch are only worn twice not pairs and it getting a nightmare trying to contact you for a return
I bought a pair of these in mid September. They have disintegrated around the fly in less than 2 months. Initially the flexibility of these trousers felt great but the build quality is utterly shocking.
Sorry to hear that you have been having issues with the Comfort II climbing trousers. It certainly sounds like there is a fault with them. If you take them back to your nearest Decathlon, with your receipt, you can return them for an exchange, gift card or refund.
Hope this helps

I am a climber from mumbai and have been using the simond climbing jeans for a while. I have used the jeans on rock as well as on artificial climbing wall. The product is simply amazing and it fits really well. It is comfortable as well as light weight and can be used for casual outings too. It is flexible for the sport and does not stick to the body leading to discomfort. It also prevents from rope burn or bruises caused by rock during climbing. A few suggestions from my side - it will be better if the pockets are deeper than they are currently and the cost could be a bit low so as not only climbers but also other people will get attracted to the jeans and they can use it as any other jean.
