These walking shoes have been used for almost a year now for my daily walks on dry days. They are light and very comfortable and didn't require wearing in. The built in gaitor is great at keeping out stones and it means I don't have the need for unlacing my shoes as the laces are always tucked into it. Really happy with my purchase and really like that there's no leather, which was a big factor for me. I hope Decathlon start to produce some vegan products soon.
Very comfortable trainers
These shoes proved their worth. I nordic walked the Great North Run, 13.1 miles and shoes didnt let me down in any way
My local store (Surrey Quays, London) does not stock these, so I had to order them in specially, so that I could try them on before I took them home, got a refund or ordered another size. I took them home. They are a snug fit and offer better support that the equivalent trainers I bought November 2017. The sole is extra grippy and encourages “lemon squeezies” - Nordic walkers will know what I am talking about. I took them out for their first Nordic walk today and they are perfect.
Comfortable to wear, fits well, cover ankle and get protected.
A pair of comfortable walking shoes. Light weight so even walk very long distance still won't feel tired. Bought at sales price, very worthy.

Vyzkoušeno zatím jednou na asfaltu, pohodlné, dobře tlumí došlap. Kupuji si velikost 39, riskla jsem nákup v e-shopu, velikost odpovídala, potěšilo. Pro chození v suchu za tu cenu dobrá volba.
Passform/Größe passt optimal! Sehr angenehm zu tragen, Schnürsenkel in Schuhzunge verstaubar, richtig praktisch. In den Schuhen kann man super schön laufen, dennoch kann ich nur drei Sterne vergeben, da der Halt wohl doch nicht stabil genug ist, um die Fußhaltung zu unterstützen, Fußsohle wurde falsch abgelaufen... Bei höherwertigen Schuhen habe ich das problem nicht. Ein versuch war es Wert.

My nickname is NW 500 - cute, isn't it? I arrived in the stores in July 2017 on a little shelf of the department, reserved just for me! I may not have won a beauty contest yet, but I have everything a Nordic walker needs: top flexibility, grip for all surfaces and comfortable cushioning. The little extras? built-in gaiters to keep little stones out and a place for storing your laces and stop them dragging on the ground, so you don't lose time.
What is nordic walking?
Nordic walking is performed with special walking poles on all gently sloping surfaces to tone the whole body.
What are the benefits of nordic walking?
Nordic walking is good for overall fitness and can be enjoyed by everyone. It tones the body, improves breathing, helps with weight loss and strengthens the bones. Why is it important to choose a special shoe for nordic walking?
In Nordic walking, the heel hits the ground 1st and then the foot rolls through to the toes, which propel you forwards. Our shoes guarantee optimal flexibility and reinforced cushioning at the heel and under the metatarsals (the areas most used when walking).
What is the flex-h concept?
Flex-H technology is a system of 3 flex grooves in an H-shape located at the forefoot. Studies undertaken in Decathlon SportsLab have identified the metacarpophalangeal joints are both the flexion zone and the main support zone of the foot in fitness walking. Thus, our design teams placed flex grooves on both sides of this joint in order to help walking while remaining comfortable.
What pair of shoes should i choose in case of rainy weather?
Mesh textiles are very aerated and are not fit for practice in rainy weather. We advise you to choose the NW580 shoes. You will receive the necessary waterproofing thanks to their fabric and treatment.

To ensure your feet are comfortable:
- Choose the right shoe size. When walking, you do not necessarily need to take 1 size up. - Choose a shoe whose shape is suitable for your foot - Adjust/tighten the laces to ensure your foot is supported properly and don't hesitate to re-lace your shoes during your walk - Avoid new socks when wearing your new shoes for the 1st time - Use socks that are higher than the built-in sock liner
