I found these really comfortable and helped with moisture to prevent blisters.
I've had these for over a year, and they're perfect. I've used them hiking in cooler climates and even in really hot, humid weather. I think if I didn't have these id have huge blisters as I have pretty wide feet and noticed they compress my feet and provide extra support for areas of the foot that tend to rub. Will definitely buy again.
My son has issues with sweaty feet and these socks have been great to keep his feet dry.

Characteristics of the threads
The sole of the sock is made from brushed sock. Brushed cotton is made from much longer fibers, that feel silky, that interweave better. The result is it is much shinier, softer to the touch, more stable when washing and more durable in use. The top of the foot and heel are made from Polyamide for greater breathability and durability.
The boot/sock combination has an important role to play.
Many things cause blisters when hiking: rubbing, a fold in your sock, moisture, a size too small or too big ... It is therefore important to choose the right size and a sock material adapted to your hiking boots.
How to choose the size of your hiking socks?
You need to choose the right sock size for your foot to avoid any additional creasing: either because the sock is too big and therefore there is too much fabric around your foot, or because the sock is too small and is pulled toward the inside of the shoe. We take advantage of spandex's excellent qualities so that our socks fit well to your foot and stay in place. It is important that you try your socks out before you go hiking.
How to choose the material of your hiking socks?
You need to manage humidity when out walking: we all perspire, it's inevitable. If your boot is breathable, it will wick away moisture from your perspiration: so you have to choose a light, breathable sock as well If your boot is waterproof, to protect you from the humidity of the rain, you will not make the same choice: you need to go for a sock that will absorb your perspiration and wick it away as much as possible from your foot.
How to choose the height of your socks
We offer 3 sock lengths in this style: "Low": they slightly protrude from the shoe, but remain below your ankle bone. They are worn with low-top shoes. "Mid": they protect your ankle bones, stopping just above them: they are worn with low-top shoes. "High": they are ideal for mid-height hiking shoes, as they stop just below the calf and protect your ankle well from the shoe.
Which shoes are adapted to the nh500 high socks?
They are ideal with the NH500 mid shoes: the NH500 high socks actually contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. Finally they are high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. It is an excellent combination to reduce the chance of blisters.
