Product Customer Reviews

Velmi lehké, do kopce oceníš.
No he notado ningún problema.

Resort touring
Given that it is practiced on the ski area, the Resort Touring is useful for getting to know cross-country skiing and rediscovering the mountains by yourself and with friends or family. You climb up the marked routes provided (increasingly) in certain resorts and go back down using the groomed slopes. Your motivations: You want to get some exercise, maintain your physical shape or get away from the crowd and commotion of the resort for an hour or half a day.
Pack
The pair of RT 500 skis are available as a pack with Tour Light bindings and skins. The binding is fitted to a base plate that can be adjusted to the length of the 55 mm binding. It is therefore suitable for a wide range of foot sizes. The base plate is mounted according to an assembly plan for each size in order to suit everyone's needs. Thanks to this assembly, you can lend your skis, change boot size, etc. This is a major advantage for easily initiating others to cross-country skiing.
Skins
The skins provided with the RT 500 skis are sized and cut to the size and width of the ski. They are made of 70% mohair and 30% synthetic materials – the ideal compromise in terms of gliding performance (when climbing in order to save energy) and grip (when climbing in order to reduce the backslide effect). The skins are fitted with a metal caliper that can be fastened to most ski tips and an adjustable camlock at the rear for fastening the skin to the tail of the ski.
Construction
Wood Sandwich construction with straight sidewalls. The wood used is Paulownia, which is a very lightweight wood that also offers very soft handling in all snow conditions.
What is a camber?
When placing a ski on the ground, its points of contact are found near the tip and tail, whereas the middle of the ski (under the bindings) is slightly raised (this is the camber). The longer and higher the camber, the greater the edge grip and the more responsive the ski. The lower the camber, the more forgiving the ski and the better handling it will have.
Camber
The RT 500 has a medium camber – good compromise between handling and edge grip.
What is a rocker?
On a "rocker" ski, the tip – and, sometimes, the tail – comes off the ground much sooner than with a cambered ski without a rocker. This moves the points of contact toward the center of the ski. The surface of the ski in contact with the snow is smaller: they are more manageable and buoyant on soft snow. When taking corners, the edge length offers more edge grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the easier the skis will be to handle.
Rocker
The RT 500 has a front and rear rocker (tip and tail), which provides good handling and makes it easy to turn on all types of snow. On the slopes, this small rocker makes it very easy to effortlessly turn the skis.
What are ski sidecuts?
The sidecuts have 3 measurements, the width at the tip (front of ski), the waist (middle of ski) and the tail (back of ski). The wider the tip, the easier it is to initiate turns. The slimmer the waist width, the more edge grip the ski has on hard snow. The wider the waist, the more comfortable and stable the ski is in changing snow conditions. The wider the waist, the greater the stability of the ski in turns. The slimmer the tail, the easier it is to side-slip.
Sidecuts
122/78/111 in size 65.4" (166 cm), Sidecut radius of 15.4 meters in size 65.4" (166 cm).
Weight
Ski alone = 2.9 lbs (size 166 cm/65.4"). Ski with Tour light binding: 3.8 lbs (size 166).

Imported
