Product Customer Reviews

Really good poles. They weigh less than and have better hand straps than a shorter pair that my wife owns made by a well known ski brand. The only slight issue I had was that the velcro hand straps sometimes come undone when in use. Great for the price, I recommend.
Been using them for roller skiis. Had to remove the plastic fin as it got in the way sometimes, but probably ok for winter/snow use.

How to choose your pole length for skating?
The choice of pole is very important for cross-country skiing. If it is too short or too long you will have a lot of difficulty skiing properly. For skating technique:They should be long to maximize your push There are two ways to calculate the length:Length of skating poles = Skier's shoulderorLength of skating poles = Skier's height x 0.89The length of the poles will also depend on the skier's physical attributes"
How to choose your pole length for classic skiing?
for classic technique:Alternative (or classic) ski poles are slightly shorter. Length of poles = Skier's armpitorLength of poles = Skier's height x 0.83Once again, the length of the poles will also depend on the skier's physical attributes.
How to choose your pole?
Aluminum poles are solid, heavy and inexpensive - ideal for beginners. Fiberglass poles are more lightweight and fragile and should only be used on slopes. Carbon fiber poles and those with other very lightweight materials are durable and stiff.
