Cushion Grip Running Shoe

Did a few short road runs and the black material on the heals has worn out to the white compound underneath which is now showing through. The quickest wearing out of shoes I ha had in 30 years of running.

The shoes are phenomenal for the price, they are incredibly comfortable and long lasting. The soles are think and soft, ideal for traveling. Expect them to last 2+ years easily. I bought them 2.5 years ago and they are still going strong after everyday usage (unlike cheaper kalenji models which lasted for only 3-6 months) only drawback is my toe nails made holes in the front top mesh - the top front leather strip should be wider and bigger. I chose +1 size though because my toes did not have enough room otherwise. Also I suggest making a version with oxford/taffeta fabric instead of mesh - this will be more practical protecting from splashes while walking and hiking (not leather though - that will render them unbreathable). Finally it would be nice to have shoes with the same sole but a more attractive design e.g. fabric made oxfords or mocassins or something like that.

Bought for my husband and he likes them and hasn't had issues with them

Took the shoes out for few 5k - after 2-3 weeks the right heel area ripped and started to cause irritation while running - good shoe otherwise just fell apart rather quickly.

Lightweight, good looking, comfortable (& I have wide feet), I have already bought a further pair in a different colour! Doubt (but don't know) they'd be good for street running but they are perfect for the gym.
