Really good value , work fine with Spd pedals
Price was excellent and they were recommended in store. No instructions with product, so easy enough to fit, but adjusting was more difficult to get right. Had to return to store as could not get right- store too could not fit. Eventually, after 2 trips and 2 hours of fiddling decided they were faulty. Exchanged for Shimano pedals- excellent.
Could I ask you for two pieces of information? Pedal model and shoe brand/model?

I cant tell the difference, except in my wallet.
After a long ride using the same model shoes as normal but with Decathlon SPD cleats I suffered calf problems. On investigation I found the float (free rotation of the shoe in the pedal) was much less compared to the Shimano version. For some this may be an advantage. For me it appears to have created a problem.
The cleats as you say do have less degree of float than the Shimano ones, depending which model you have, the Shimano ones we sell have 6 degree of float (this info was difficult to find) where as the B'Twin ones only provide 4 degrees of float as mentioned on the website. As you have said this could cause the issue you have come across along with the cleats being in a slightly different position on your shoes.

Good value product
I keep these as a spare in my cycle bag in case the pair I'm wearing break off, over the years I've had a few screws snap regardless of brand used. These are just as good as the branded equivalent but can wear down a little quicker.

I tightened the cleats with the screws supplied with an alan key as tight as i thought reasonable, but still lost one after the first ride. Don't sell them separately so probably have to buy another complete set, but it won't be from Decathlon. Shame.
Sorry to read that you lost one of your bolts. Very unfortunate.
As a guide, you need to tighten them up to around 5 to 6 Nm of torque although I appreciate that you may not have a torque wrench at home. Gradually increasing the tightness of each bolt by quarter turn in succession until both bolts feel nice and snug. Some riders put a dab of vaseline, grease of a product such as locktite on the thread but be careful not to over-tighten which may pull your thread out of the cleat plate on your shoe.

Wasn't initially sure about having to buy 2 products in order to have cycling shoes fit for purpose. However, this does give the option to change the cleats if they become worn before the shoes do. Fair price point. As far as performance, have now just used once in a cycle class successfully, but will be testing on the open road this weekend. Will report back any positives or negatives...
An excellent alternative to the Shimano cleats. There is more float than the Shimano's but engagement is positive, and disengagement is a snap. I have replaced all of my worn out Shimano cleats with these. Obviously I have no idea how long these will last.
