Worthy product with few caveats

Tested the trainer till about a ~1000W and it seems to hold up. I wish I could test the claimed 1500W max. supported power but I'm not strong enough. Pros: *Fluid trainer at the cost of a good magnetic trainer. *Progressive/automatic resistance, good ride feel, relatively quiet. *Comes bundled with skewer, foldable design, supports 26 & 29''. *Compatible with Zwift virtual power, on list of supported trainers. *minimal tire wear even when used with non trainer tires. Cons: *Does not come with nuts to attach bolt-on rear wheels, nor is there an option to buy them. This is a value oriented product that could really benefit from allowing most of your bikes to be used without buying overpriced nuts/adaptors from the likes of Tacx etc. The current solution would be a quick release wheel/conversion in order to be able to use this trainer. *The trainer was whisper quiet initially, with the only audible sound coming from the tire, however, upon storing the product for a few months and then reusing it, there is now a fluid whooshing sound heard upon turning the first few pedals. Doesn't not seem to have affected performance so far and will have to see how it bodes for the longevity of the product. *Stability could be improved. I would recommend picking this over the inride magnetic trainer.

Value for the money you spend

I got this trainer to replace my rides on rainy days. This is an entry level fluid trainer which is very useful for interval training. Stable and quiet compared to the magnetic trainers

Amazing Stuff at this price point

I went through a lot of trainers and I found this trainer worth every paisa spent. If you are going for Tri then this has to be on your list. Lack of Installation video and tough packaging is a drawback,,Works great. Highly recommended . The associated cadence and speed leave a bit to be desired, Maybe I m not doing something right to get the sensors callibrated

Horrible Packaging

The Plastic packaging inside the box is not easy to un-wrap. The plastic sheet remains stuck to the resistance wheel and one can’t know if it is indeed revolving or not. The user manual should be more detailed on how to install the bike.. there are no YouTube tutorials either.. I damaged the product due to incorrect istallation. Not sure why the essential front wheel dock is not part of the package..

The best value fluid trainer!

This fluid trainer is so underrated! It is power curve/profile is gradual, the resistance is natural and can really push it upto 1000W. Works great with various indoor cycling softwares like Zwift/Trainerroad/Maximum Trainer.

Worth the money for a fluid trainer

got a fluid trainer from decathlon which started leaking after a month of usage. returned to decathlon and got a new one, now i am using for 2 months and its excellent no issues. its definitely worth the money, compared to other fluid trainers which are double the cost.

Very Good Trainer

Very good design but I couldn't ride more than 15 minutes as resistance was too high.AlsoBike remain too high from ground level with different alignment with respect to outdoor position.I have to lean forward so that there was pressure on my shoulder and wrist.Wall mounting arrangements will be good addition.Roller can be made up of material other than steel so that no need to maintain spare training Tyre. You can't go to outdoor riding quickly due to Tyre setup.I may go for Magnetic trainer as it has variable resistance. This product is good but not suitable for my requirements hence returned it.

Very quiet but using it is quiet challenging.

Purchased this as my first indoor trainer. Read lot of reviews online and figured that fluid trainers are better than the mag trainers. Have used it for 2 weeks now. It is quiet challenging to use with its automatic resistance abilities. I have mounted a BTWIN TRIBAN - 100 on it. I have added the BTWIN wireless cycle computer onto the rear wheel and use Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Home Trainer Tyre (23c). Have also replaced the flat pedals with the BTWIN SPD dual platform pedals. Since this bike has only single front chain ring and 7 gears at the rear, pushing the cycle on this trainer is quiet a challenge. I am no where a pro but on road with full gas I am able to reach the speeds in range of 35-40 KMPH while sprinting but have not been able to make more than 26-27 KMPH on this trainer with full gas. Same goes for average speed that has lowered by 3-4 KMPH. On the positive side, I guess this additional resistance which I cannot moderate will help my on-road performance.

Parfait

Connect your in'ride 500 to our b'twin training application.

Whether you do road or mountain bike training on the home trainer, we highly recommend using a tire specially designed for use on home trainers. It has the advantage of lasting longer thanks to its reinforced structure and harder rubber that reduces the noise of the wheels spinning.

When cycling on a home trainer, the rear wheel of your bike is well stabilized and slightly raised. For greater stability, you should also use a front wheel riser block. Doing so will help stabilize your front wheel and raise the front of the bike to keep you in a perfectly aligned position.

When training indoors, perspiration often drips onto the bike or floor. We recommend using the following equipment: 1. A sweat guard to stop perspiration (acidic) from dripping onto your bike and damaging it (ref. 8056757). 2. A home trainer mat to reduce noise and provide stability and added protection against perspiration (ref. 8369937).
