This Ultralight Sport Road Cycling Rain Jacket is an exceptionally good light weight, compact rain jacket that is easy to pack and carry on all my bike rides. This was by far the best value rain jacket of this high quality available that I could find when searching over the internet for a breathable rain jacket for cyclists. The material is thin and lightweight but is made from very strong material, so although I thought I might have to handle it with great care to avoid tearing it when I first saw it this has not been the case. It looks good and all the design features show that a lot of thought and expertise has gone into the design of the jacket. The size is U.K. / European sizing by the feel of it. I’m an extra-large size normally and the extra-large size of this jacket fits me well. I was worried it might be too tight when I ordered it (the 2 xl was not available and was the size I most probably would have opted for given the chance), as sportswear tends to be designed on the slim side, but the fit is fine. The jacket has under-arm and back air vents and they work very well in allowing hot air out and cool air in. The zip feels robust and it seems unlikely to break or snag. A big plus is that the jacket folds down very small into its own pocket / pouch so that it is very convenient for me to pack it into my small bike frame bag. I take it out on all my bike journeys just in case I encounter rain or heavy downpours. It’s never going to keep all the rain out in the torrential down-pours we get here in Thailand during the rainy season (you’d need a very expensive and bulky North Face gortex mountain jacket, or the like, for that!). However, I think that the jacket does help keep the icy cold rain that is hammering away at you from chilling your body which is a big benefit. I have also found it very good for keeping the wind chill off when sitting out a rain storm with the attendant strong wind under a field shelter. Without it, having got wet, I think hyperthermia could well have set in. I am very happy with my purchase. Excellent value for money.

Cool on the body. Good fit. Doesn't soak up water
Used this in the Alps for descents (kept wind at bay very well) and for protection from Scottish summer rain showers. Great value.
good value. Folds away well but did fray slightly around the folding area.
I carry this jacket everywhere on my bike, normally in the side pocket of a T-bag for brompton, but if I'm not using that, and there's rain forecast, can just stuff into back pocket for quick access, or have as first access item in a backloader. If you're in biblically wet conditions all day, you're still going to get wet, but for a couple hours or so, it works well, and helps keep a little wind off. Zip has worked really well too, even gloved. It's not particularly breathable, but quick to remove and stuff back into a pocket if you're just caught in a shower. For the money, I've been pretty happy and have used on some seriously rides over the last couple years.
It has excellent rain repelling properties and really light weight. My son takes it everywhere he goes.
This is one of the best bits of bike kit I have owned. I thought it was good. Then I spent 5 hours riding in the Peak District rain today and it kept my torso warm and mainly dry. Damp patches came from associated other clothing like my gloves and neck warmer. It costs a fifth of the price of the equivalent jacket I originally planned to buy. My only criticism is that black is not good for UK winters. I would be inclined to get the white version I have seen on the website.
Checked out what is out there and there is nothing of this quality at such a good price.

Cracking lightweight jacket and an excellent price
Very light, compact and easy to slip into the back pocket of cycling jersey. In time, I hope they can use breatheable materials for this rain jacket
After some insightful and frank advice from David in cycling, I purchased this jacket which is high quality, light, packable, compact, and actually rainproof.
Bought for a summer hundred miler. Very pleased thus far. Fits easily in a jersey pocket and keeps off heavy 1 hr summer showers without being too hot and sweaty. A bit fiddly to fit back in the small pocket pouch but the trick is to just scrunch it in when dry without trying to be neat, Good value.

Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's waterproofing is determined by measuring its resistance to the pressure exerted by a water column, measured in mm (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Material with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm resists the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour rain shower). Our showerproof jacket is waterproof up to 2000 mm.
Breathability
To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapor produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable material The RET of our Ultralight showerproof jacket is 6.
