Esta capucha es la más cómoda que he probado, las gafas quedan bien sujetas y además no deja toda la cara marcada. Es importante escoger la talla adecuada para no filtrar agua pero que tampoco sea incómodo. Es importante tener en cuenta dónde se va a bucear para calcular la temperatura del agua, por si fuera necesario una de mayor grosor. Para el mediterraneo es perfecta
Agréablement surpris par l'efficacité de cette cagoule ( protection thermique, étanchéité, confort). Petite fragilité de la soudure entre le néoprène refendu et le néoprène thermique.

Même la taille la plus petite (S/M) laisse entrer l'eau
Comme vous avez pu le constater, cette cagoule n'est pas étanche. Pour une bonne isolation thermique, il faut en effet qu'une légère quantité d'eau pénètre. Il faut cependant éviter que cette eau ne circule trop. C'est pour cette raison qu'il faut que la jonction entre la cagoule et la combinaison soit la meilleure possible.
Pour cela, le revers du manchon du cou de la combinaison est primordial. Il évitera à l'eau de pénétrer et à l'air de sortir.
Comme vous le savez surement, si ce produit ne vous convient pas, vous pouvez nous le ramener en magasin.

Technical features
A 7 mm thick neoprene hood, with plush loop interior, that fits flat against the face with a preformed chin. The central grey band is made of stretch neoprene to best adapt to the shape of the head. Air Expulse system: a system to evacuate air bubbles trapped in the hood. It features a snap hook to attach it to the right thigh of the suit.
Gbs (glued and blind stitched) assembly
The seams of the hood are watertight, sewn with GBS stitching (Glued and Blind Stitched): the neoprene is glued first of all, then sewn for maximum strength (the sewing needle does not go completely through the neoprene in order to prevent water infiltration).
Adjust the thickness, adjust your warmth!
When diving, cold is your worst enemy! Using the right thermal protection based on the water temperature, is essential. This concept was created to keep you from having to purchase different diving suits for different diving conditions, with 5 pieces that can be combined with your suit depending on the temperature. In this way, you can complete your thermal insulation with a hood, a neoprene top, a top with a hood, a 1 mm under-shorty or a 5.5 mm over-shorty.
Tips on how to take care of your diving suit
1) Soak the inside and the outside of the diving suit in clean water after each session. 2) Clean with a bactericide solution. 3) Rinse thoroughly in clean water. 4) Dry on a wide hanger in a dark and well-ventilated place. Caution: the sun will cause the colours of the textile parts of the diving suit to fade and speeds up the ageing process of the neoprene. Zips can be cleaned with a toothbrush and lubricated with silicone grease.

This scuba diving hood provides thermal protection that has been tested by the independent INPP institute (Marseille, France) in order to validate its compliance with the current standard (EN 14225-1:2005).
