Very disapointed

After only 3 days of snowboarding, the board is in a disastrous state. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the decathlon boards. I specify that I had no accident. I wanted to invest in a board to avoid renting for the next few years and I find myself with a completely damaged board in just 3 days!!!

Snowboarding endzone 151

Tested at we snowboard school 02/19 Pure reactive pleasure and frankly I'm going to buy this one a favorite

good board

Tested at we snowboard school Good acceleration, flexibility, absorbs the oops well

A good all-round flexible board.

After having had a 2nd hand Burton for several years, my daughter is very attentive to this.

Very playful and responsive

Fairly playful and reactive board both on piste and in freeride. Good glide guaranteed! Good flex and good stability!

Handy

Tested only on track and side of track. Maneuverable, fairly flexible board. Edge fault tolerance.

Good board for the price!

Hyper reactive and playful Board Pure pleasure in the powder and for this price it's more than correct

Light and handy

Real pleasure to descend with this snow, super handy and light, perfect for small turns as I like

Pleasant and manageable!

Playful, pleasant and manageable. Good feelings. Lightweight. A can be tested longer on ice (grip).

Great ride!

Very flexible and goes everywhere! Pleasant and manageable

Wow, a nice surprise!

I'm used to riding on very soft snowboards and I was afraid that this board would be very stiff but I really liked it. The fixes were also practical and pleasant to use (no blocking etc ...)

great board

I loved how easy it was to change edges when turning.

Value for money…

The value for money makes it a very good board for a beginner wanting to practice all modes of snowboarding.

The best board I've tried

Excellent. Being a novice I can say, although it may not seem like it, that in the 4 times that I have gone in less than 1 month I have learned completely by myself the little that I knew, even the people and monitors stare at me at the gestures and maneuvers with what I do with it . With rented boards and with this board I have learned everything. Even so, I like to use this magnificent board because it is ideal for any terrain and I recommend it

Very good value for money!

Ideal for beginners, as it is very easy to steer and you also have a good grip on the board! The look and the price speak for themselves!

Which size endzone 500 should i choose?

For Freestyle use, you can go for a relatively short board: choose a 20 or 25 cm drop (for example, a girl who is 1.7 m tall should choose a board between 150 and 145 cm in length).A smaller board makes rotations and tricks easier. A bigger board will be more stable at high speed and when landing jumps.146 cm => 1.60 m to 1.71 m151 cm => 1.69 m to 1.76 m156 cm WIDE => from 1.74 m to 1.81 m

A word from the product manager

The Endzone 500 is the most playful board in the range. We wanted it to be easy to handle as well as being freestyle: technical, playful, easy to handle and fun. We love this board but the most important thing is that you like it! Please remember to let us know what you think in the customer feedback section.

Programme/terrain

The Endzone 500 doesn't carve as well as the Allroad 500 on the slopes but is great fun in snow parks, whether for rail lines, jump lines or on the flat. It's easy to handle in tight turns on the piste and is the perfect excuse for playful snowboarding on the edge of the slopes. With its flat camber with rocker and soft torsion between the feet, it suits an experienced rider looking for a playful board as well as for a genuine beginner interested in freestyle.

Twintip snowboard

The shape of the snowboard is TwinTip. The board's sidecuts are completely symmetrical between front and rear, providing perfect symmetry and centring of the board's features for riding in both directions in the same way. The TwinTip shape also provides total balance when turning on the ground or in the air.

Flat camber + rocker

A flat camber offers the best compromise between a standard camber which provides traction and dynamic motion, and a reverse camber which provides manoeuvrability when turning but little traction. It is perfect for park freestylers and beginners as: - the flat camber provides stability on modules and on the slopes- the rocker makes it more forgiving in parks and on the slopes as the 4 corners of the board don't touch the snow when the board is flat.

Slight flex (5/10)

Flex is the stiffness of the board between the front and rear. The flex of the Endzone 500 board is approximately 5/10, making it tolerant and playful. This is a very even type of flex from the tip (nose) to the tail, which is makes the board playful in snow parks and on the piste. However, at high speed or on very frozen snow, this board cannot hold a carved turn.

Soft and forgiving torsion

The Endzone 500 has a torsional flex, which is the stiffness of the board between the feet, of about 4/10, which makes the board easy to handle, pivot and more forgiving of edge errors. Soft torsion provides freedom for the feet. It is important at the beginner level: forgiving of edge errors. Soft torsion is also suitable for freestyle, jib or flat use. Perfect for shredding!

0 mm setback

The setback is when the board's compression points on the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the centre of the board, but set back towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance.no setback = these are fully centred Twin Tip boards, not only for riding in both directions, but also for better balance during rotations in the air and on the slopes.

Product testing

All Dreamscape by Decathlon snowboarding products are tested under the actual conditions of use for which they were designed. In the snow, in the cold, in all conditions you may come across when snowboarding whether in powder, in the park or on the piste. The design teams check that the programme for which the product was conceived and developed perfectly matches its use in the field.

Storage instructions

Dry edges at the end of the day to prevent rust. Ideally, wax every 5 outings.Storing for the summer: keep away from sunlight, you can leave your bindings on the board.
