This yoga bolster is small, but extremely firm! It is SO good, I ordered a second one as a back-up.
Pretty, comfortable, and made with solid materials. I would buy more if they stocked more.

Excellent - firm / solid good size and shape
Yoga pillow is very useful for back extension & shoulders operner & neck relaxation.
I recommend this all the time and some yoga students have told me they bought it on my recommendation. Same with yoga belt.

The top zipper is a game changer and allows for the cover to be taken off easily for laundry. The bolster itself is VERY firm and heavy, which means solid support.

The quality is very good, but it would be great to have a bigger choice in shapes and size, esp. also a flatter, rectangular bolster. This bolster is great to increase your selection, but I would hesitate to buy it as a first or only bolster.
I thought the smell came from the box it was packed in but when I opened the zipper of this bolster, I can smell the cotton inside and it was not a good smell. I can't even bear to use it. When I returned it at the store, the guy said it was because it's organic. Organic or not, I don't think it should smell like this!
I'm so sorry on your experience. Indeed you should be able to bring this down to the stores to get an exchange or refund. This particular bolster was kept in the warehouse for a while, so might cause some smell and it's a defect definitely.
Unfortunately the only way to do the refund is to head down to the store again to explain the situation. Once again, we apologise for the case.
During this situation today (where it's a little hard to head out), you might want to try airing the bolster under the sun.
