How to choose a fitness mat
Choose your floor mat depending on your sport,
your intensity level and whether you will be wearing shoes.
- For core strengthening and dynamic exercises, opt for a mat with a protective skin. They are more resistant to abrasion and less likely to tear.
- For rehabilitation, Pilates or stretching, choose a thick, "cushy" mat. This type of mat will provide greater comfort by offering better insulation from the floor.
