Great fit and comfort.. great support with the sock liner.
Great grip on the rocks and comfortable to walk in on dirt or paths. Have done 10km rock and trails as well as 10km bike paths.
have done a few miles in these shoes, and so far so good. I guess the real test in such a low priced shoe will be how they bear up over the next few months. Plus points: Nice cuff, removable insole so I can replace with my gel, anti pronation inserts, laces seem less prone to coming undone.
I had ordered Nordic Walking Shoes last year but I hardly used it few times since and it has developed cracks and pasting has come off too at certain places. I have purchased some quality products from Decathlon but this is the only product that turned out to be of poor quality. I reached out to the customer care few months ago but they refused to help albeit it is exclusively mentioned in terms and conditions that there is warranty on pasting and soul. I hadn't expected such a behavior from Decathlon.

I understand your discomfort and I would request you to change the shoes as this shoe is not correct for you in this case. I would request you to please visit your nearest Decathlon store and kindly get your shoe checked by our experienced running or walking sports leader. They will be more than happy to assist you. This problem might be because of the incorrect size selected and while running or walking your toe might be hitting the wall of the shoe. So, it will be better if you visit the store and check our wide range of different walking shoes suiting your purpose.

These shoes are slightly heavy, because of the otter sole which is more durable and it has a better grip. These shoes can be used in the off-road, mud and slippery surfaces. It is easy to clean and maintain.

Why is it important to choose a special shoe for nordic walking?
In Nordic walking, you place the heel on the ground first, then roll out the foot until the toes hit the ground in order to move forward. These shoes provide optimal flexibility and enhanced cushioning under the heel and metatarsals, the areas that suffer the most when walking.
What is the flex-h concept?
The exclusive Flex-H concept follows the natural action of the foot thanks to 3 flex grooves in a H pattern. Studies undertaken in Decathlon SportsLab have identified the metacarpophalangeal joints are both the flexion zone and the main support zone of the foot in power walking. Thus, our design teams placed flex grooves on both sides of this joint in order to help walking while remaining comfortable.
To ensure your feet are comfortable:
- Choose the right shoe size. When walking, you do not necessarily need to take 1 size up.- Choose a shoe whose shape is suitable for your foot- Adjust/tighten the laces to ensure your foot is supported properly and don't hesitate to re-lace your shoes during your walk- Avoid new socks when wearing your new shoes for the 1st time- Use socks that are higher than the built-in sock liner
