Not suitable for use in the UK as it is too narrow to fit an OS map unfolded to read (which is roughly 27 cms square). I should probably have checked the dimensions when I bought it, but it didn't occur to me that a UK outdoor store would be selling a map case which doesn't fit the national mapping service's maps! Please, Decathlon, either get the dimensions of this product changed, or stop selling it in the UK...
This is made of a supple plastic that makes it quite user-friendly. Not cheap, but was just the thing during a D of E expedition
Just too small for ordnance survey 1:25000 maps (ok for 1:40000 maps and some continental maps) and allowing minimal folding , more useful for keeping gloves, buff and hat in rucksack as this is waterproof.
Quality
Although I'm sure the sizing is just right for French IGN maps, this case is too thin for British OS maps, as a result you can't slide an OS map without crumpling it. It seems our maps are wider than they are across the Channel...
Standard OS maps need to be folded right down to fit in- you can't view more than one small panel at a time without taking the map out of the bag. Extra few cms in width, and it would have been great. Maybe french maps are smaller?

War beim Wasserwandern is Schweden permanent vor mir auf dem Boot aufgespannt. Und hat hohe Wellen überlebt(2er kajak 60cm Wellenhöhe und das über 8h, durch Gegenwind) Klasse Kartentasche und der Preis ist auch top.

Buen producto
Portamapas para un A4 o poco más. Tiene un cierre enrollado, con fácil apertura y cierre, y que impide la entrada del agua a los documentos. Es transparente y flexible, con lo que, por esa parte, está bien. La única pega es el cordón: lo encuentro un poco corto, especialmente para el invierno, cuando llevamos el cuello bien abrigadito (y que es cuando suele llover más). Tiene un cierre ajustable por presión que se abre también con un tirón y, probablemente, en unos cuantos usos ya se dé de sí. Creo que este aspecto es mejorable, con un cordón un poquito más largo, ajustable, y un cierre de rosca que no se abra tan fácilmente.
