I bought it as a gift, the person really liked it
If you are looking for a good winter jacket, don't buy this. It is too thin. Looks good, but it won't hold the chill.

Perfect for dry spring, autumn and cool summer. Just put on a t-shirt and it's warm. XL fits 185 cm, perfect length and hugs the neck well.

I really like it! It's thin, but still warm, and it even looks good (: It can be packed in a pocket, about the same size as a larger rain cover or rain jacket. I recommend it.
The ability to fold into a pocket and the small size are a big plus when used as an insulating layer inside. At temperatures around 0, I use it during walks, often with just one cotton T-shirt underneath. Warm and compact, nicely finished sleeves inside, does not blow inside.

A great jacket, you hardly notice that you're wearing it. It took some getting used to at first ;-) And really warm.
The down in the jacket is not water-repellent, the material is not on a ripstop mesh, there are no pockets on the chest parallel to the zipper, but the jacket costs less than half as much as those that have them so it is worth it for this price. The material is windproof and therefore does not breathe, it gets hot and humid during physical activity and then the pockets are moved to prevent this, but the two at the bottom are not enough, the one on the chest is missing, there could even be 2. Without them you have to unzip the main zipper. I plan to put in a zipper on the chest first 1, and if necessary the second one. The jacket is compatible with the same model and size of the vest, i.e. it is a bit wider and longer and you can use them together, the vest does not stick out at the bottom from under the jacket, it is comfortable and free. No colors that occur in nature: green, olive, brown, khaki, etc.

How warm is this padded jacket?
This down jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of 23°F (-5°C), during a standardized test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 3 mph wind. We have also tested this model in static mode. The comfort temperature is 41°F (5°C) in this case.
The advantages of a duck down and feather filling
The filling power of down has 3 advantages for mountain sports: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers.- Ultra-lightweight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack.- Ultra-compressible.
How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?
The fill power is a measure of the down fts thermal insulation capacity and its potential to InchtrapInch air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. This puffer jacket, filled with 90% down and 10% feathers, has a guaranteed fill power of 800 CUIN (international standard) or over.
How to care for a down jacket?
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. But the less you wash it, the more it will retain its thermal insulation and water repellency.Summary: 1/Machine wash with a detergent suitable for down or technical garments, at 30°C, with 2 or 3 tennis balls. Gentle spin cycle. 2/ tumble dry with 2 or 3 tennis balls, and repeat 2 or 3 times until it is completely dry.
Water-repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. The fabric of this down jacket is water repellent, however, we recommend that you wear a waterproof jacket over it in the rain. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating (PFC-free) its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use. We recommend that you restore it after each wash.
How to restore the water-repellent properties?
Once you have cleaned your padded jacket, we recommend you use a water-repellent reactivator spray to preserve the hydrophobic properties of the outer fabric. This renews the fabric’s water repellent properties and optimises its performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.
A snag? how to repair your fleece
A tear on a padded jacket can happen when trekking! The good news is that it can be repaired with a repair patch to prevent the tear from getting bigger or feathers from escaping. Don't you feel at ease carrying out this repair yourself? Don't worry! Some Decathlon workshops offer an in-store repair service to mend your padded jacket using a heat-bonded patch.
