Question:
What is the sleeve length of the Large and XL Jackets
Answer:
It is 29.1 inches long and for the XL and 28.3 inches for the L
Question:

Answer:
It is 7 oz. for size XL.
Question:
The description says static rated at 0 degrees f but active at 23 degrees f. Im assuming that is a mistake and needs to be switched correct?
Answer:
This down jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of 0°F during a standardised test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 3.1 mi/h wind. We have also tested this model in ”static” mode; the comfort temperature is 23°F in this case.
Question:
Does the hood have any pull strings to tighten?
Answer:
Yes, it does.
Question:
The description says static rated at 0 degrees f and active at 23 degrees f. Could you please explain what these two terms mean? Thank you.
Answer:
This down jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of 0°F during a standardized test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 3.1 mi/h wind. We have also tested this model in ”static” mode; the comfort temperature is 23°F in this case. Active stands for when you are on the move. Static on the other hand is when you are not moving.
Question:
How is the static rating lower than the active temp rating? That makes no sense.
Answer:
This down jacket, when worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of 0°F during a standardized test in a thermal chamber. Additionally, we have tested this model in "static" mode, where the comfort temperature is 23°F. We sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by our previous responses, and we appreciate your understanding.

Product Customer Reviews
Good
good but too bulky, but can be pressed and packed.
Warm and ultra-light!
Do not have blue colour, i thought to take blue but I took black. Overall product is good.
Looks very good and feels great, warmth is also really top. Price-performance ratio is unbeatable, I compared it with some 500€ jackets and this one does more than just well
The warmth of jacket is not as per expectations.
Nice
lightweight, warm upto 4000 meters, didn't go higher so not sure but I hope it works fine even up to 6000 meters or may be higher.
Very nice product
Jacket bought at the turn of spring, so it will wait for a colder period. Very comfortable, ventilation under the arms is not described. It must be warm, because it is very swollen. Bought for everyday use, with indications for mountain activities
Warm and light.
I love this jacket. Not the most compact but the material is a bit tougher than the usual bubble jackets at strategic parts. Keeps very warm.
I prefer goose down coats. They have produced a product with the quality of world-renowned products, the fit is very nice, I recommend it.
Used in Nepal at over 6500m in temp from 0 to -25c. Worn on summit day with baselayer, fleece jacket and a fleece gilet and was toasty warm. Fantastic value and performed exactly as expected
the ending of the sleeves could have been better solved

How warm is this padded jacket?
This down jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of 0°F during a standardized test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 3.1 mi/h wind. We have also tested this model in Inchstatic Inch mode; the comfort temperature is 23°F in this case.
The advantages of a duck down and feather filling
The filling power of down has 3 advantages for mountain sports:- Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers- Ultra low weight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack- Ultra-compressible
How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?
The fill power is a measure of the down fts thermal insulation capacity and its potential to InchtrapInch air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. For this down jacket with its 85% down and 15% feathers filling, the fill power is guaranteed to be 660 CUIN or more (international standard).
Reducing the risk of feather loss
The main stitching of the compartments containing the down and feather are heat-sealed to prevent the loss of feathers
What is rds certification?
RDS or “Responsible Down Standard” is a worldwide certification issued by an independent organization to volunteer brands. This standard enables us to guarantee the origin of the feathers in accordance with our commitment to use responsible materials. Our suppliers commit to using only feathers from geese and ducks raised for their meat and slaughtered before down and feathers are collected.
Water-repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it.This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. The material of this down jacket is water-repellent; we recommend wearing a waterproof jacket over it in the event of prolonged exposure to rain. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use.We recommend that you restore it after each wash.
How to care for a down jacket?
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Our advice: 1/Machine wash with a detergent suitable for down or technical garments, at 86°F, with 2 or 3 tennis balls. Gentle spin cycle. 2/ tumble dry with 2 or 3 tennis balls, and repeat 2 or 3 times until it is completely dry.
How to restore water-repellent properties?
Once you have cleaned your padded jacket, we recommend you use a water-repellent reactivator spray to preserve the hydrophobic properties of the outer fabric. This renews the fabric’s water repellent properties and optimizes its performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.
A snag? this is how to repair your down jacket
A tear on a padded jacket can happen when backpacking! The good news is that it can be repaired with a repair patch to prevent the tear from getting bigger or feathers from escaping. Don't you feel at ease carrying out this repair yourself? Don't worry! Some Decathlon workshops offer an in-store repair service to mend your padded jacket using a heat-bonded patch.
