These pants are lightweight, but have proven to be tough. They are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. The pocket system is ideal. With 4 zippered pockets on the front, I don't have to sit on my wallet. My wallet is secure in the zippered pocket in a place where I can see it. Pickpockets are stymied. Another pocket is perfect for my large mobile phone. The pants are quick drying for use when traveling. I bought my first of these pants for a specific purpose, but now they not only serve my outdoor adventures, they are my everyday pants. This is one of Decathlon's best products.
Some of the best outdoor pants I've ever owned, and for the price they absolutely cannot be beaten. Super comfortable and allow easy movement with the fabric stretch and good waist. I have three pairs of the same pants. I wish they came in more colors and I'd buy even more pairs!

I was looking for a pair of walking trousers but not wanting to spend £70-100 for a well known brand. Very pleased with these so far. Much thinner material and lighter in weight than I'd expected but easy and comfortable to hike in. How durable they'll be over time? I don't know. I found them to be quite a slim fit compared to some other brands. Included belt is a bonus. I like the use of a popper to fasten the fly, where I've lost buttons on other trousers. Lower side pockets may not be deep enough to hold some large smartphones. But the pockets aren't too baggy either. A shame the brown ones weren't in stock or I'd have gone for them.
These are not 'sturdy' trousers, highly unlikely to survive long in rough terrain. Very tight across glutes and thighs despite sizing up, although fairly stretchy and comfortable enough. Nice pockets which are useful, and not bulky. Would suggest using for very mild weather/trips, material may be quite sweaty on hot days. Not sure I'll choose them over shorts during summer, too thin and cold for winter.
Any thinner and they'd not exist. Best part of £40 and the bag had better wind resistance. Instant return.
Lightweight. Comfortable. Durable. Practical. Great value for money. And…….. this is a product that you can actually see in a physical Decathlon store - unlike many other products found online.

These trousers are an update on those I've purchased before. There has been an increase in size of the ones I bought previously - longer leg and gusset. Much too big for my waist size.

Absolutely love these trousers! I have the equivalent Montane items, twice the price, and I actually prefer these Forclaz ones. Features and pocket position is great, fit is fantastic - more snug than others so no 'ballooning' in the wind! Used on a few treks now and quality seems brilliant.

How are the blue, black and brown models eco-designed?
For the three colour versions of the trousers (blue, black and brown), we used a bulk-dyeing process called ”dope dyeing”. This process incorporates the colour pigments from the initial thread manufacture to reduce water consumption. As a result, we reduced the carbon emissions by 27.8% for the black version and by 11.8% for blue and brown versions.
Hybrid structure
Trousers designed with 2 different components: - a durable fabric (207 g/m²) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (seat, bottom of the legs at the front). This fabric also has stretch properties. This gives you plenty of freedom of movement. - a lightweight and breathable fabric (125 g/m²) on the rest of the trousers.

What is the water repellent feature of the component?
These trousers have water repellent inserts (bottom of the legs at the front, seat) that make water run off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF. The water repellent property prevents the trousers from getting wet too fast but will not keep you dry under steady rain To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref. 8493660) The water-repellent properties can be restored by warming the trousers in a tumble dryer at low heat for 10 minutes.
