I am very satisfied with the shirt.
Good product, well cut and well finished; bought in blue Bought in plum last winter (which I appreciated being made in Portugal - not the case for the blue color)
Comfortable, does not retain odors and can be worn for more than a day
Long, close to the body, thin and can be worn in walking pants
It is very warm for how thin it is. The color is not really to my taste, but it was the only one available in the store.

The T-shirt is comfortable and meets expectations.
Very pleasant both when hiking and in everyday life
Used every day, alternating it with another identical one (but in a different colour), for 3 weeks. Washed and tumble dried every time. It has not undergone any abrasion or modification. Pleasant to wear, it helps the thermoregulation of the body, it does not make you sweat or give off a bad smell. Great product.

How did we improve the durability of our t-shirt?
We use a BETA-SPUN yarn structure, i.e. the merino wool fibres are coated with a fine sheath of polyamide filaments to protect them from rubbing and cuts, without affecting the properties of the wool.
How does the wool reduce odours from perspiration?
The component limits perspiration odours. Laboratory tested according to ISO 17299-3This merino wool T-shirt can be worn for several days at a time, allowing you to carry less clothing on your trek and thus lighten your backpack!
Reducing the ”freezing effect”
Thanks to its structure, wool can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without giving the feeling of being damp.In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of the water in the wool absorbs energy, which cools the body slightly at the same time.

For a softer feel, wash your t-shirt before first use.
How do i wash my merino wool t-shirt?
We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool t-shirt at 30° on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat. Product testing
The Trek 500 T-shirt was tested by 9 users in the Massif des Bauges in October 2019. These testers, who are independent of Decathlon, were supported by our design teams: Maïté, our product engineer, Mélanie, our designer and myself, the product manager.For 5 days, we tested this T-shirt together in cold, snowy conditions, with some fine days of walking and a number of nights in a bed-and-breakfast or bivouac.We used this test to validate the product in use.
