Well designed technical product…

Well designed and well finished technical product. Very good value for money. To be completed with a warm underlayer (down vest with feather and down) for cold days.

nice and useful

The product is good quality, the thermal insulation is weak, it is insufficient in cold weather. It can be used very well by wearing a goose down jacket. I can simply say that it is more suitable for intense and climbing activities such as tour skiing. It could have been softer.

did not arrive and changed for another

I placed an order and unfortunately the jacket was not there. they were out of stock and I was offered a replacement, I am posting positive feedback for customer service.

the sleeves are too long

It looks good, the price is very expensive, I tried the product in the store, the sleeves are too long compared to other products, the fabric on the arm that you squeeze from the wrist folds and looks bad

Too large

Wide and uncomfortable

Good with limitations

Super jacket with great wearing comfort. Pockets as you need them and sufficient ventilation, especially for ski tours. The only drawback I find is the hood, which goes directly over instead of being individual, while the collar with the helmet is very limited.

Absolutely great

Fits well indeed long but not uncomfortable it is also a freeride jacket. I also read that they thought it was a cold coat, had no problems with -17 (layers)

missed opportunity

I think it's a great shame, this is potentially a very nice jacket, the color is perfect! However, the wearing comfort and freedom of movement is not okay; I am a man of 1.88m and normal stature, but the jacket is just a bit too long anyway, so it is too narrow at the hip. too tight around the hip (and I don't have a wide hip); So next year please have the same coat and then just a little shorter, then it's a big 10 score!

Very good but not for cold climates

Overall comfortable and quality. Unfortunately I misjudged the importance of the padding and the unpadded upper part of the back feels cold... I'll have to invent something to overcome this problem, without having to cover myself too much underneath. Let's say that I would have put the "thermal pads" also in the upper part ... they would not have limited the use.

Alright

Everything great

They look great and are fun to wear

Compliant product, to see…

Compliant product, to be seen in the rain... Down jacket not necessary in "cold" weather (negative temperature) in my opinion.

Warmth and breathability technology

Positioned warm pads provide good thermal protection for your Freeride skiing days. This concept means you keep a wide area where the 3 layer membrane can wick away your perspiration.A perfect compromise between a completely padded jacket and 3 layer jacket with no extra warmth. Modularity is the key word for this jacket. It’s important to add a warmer or cooler second layer depending on the conditions.

Additional features

Helmet hood designed to offer maximum protection with freedom of movement.Adjustable to fit 3 sizes in a single movement, using a tightening system located behind the head.Tightening on the wrist and cuffs with thumb loop to prevent air and snow from getting in.Snow skirt that also reduces draughts and prevents snow from getting inside.

Ventilation

To stay dry, it is important to wear a waterproof jacket. But you shouldn't end up wet with perspiration. The vents play an important role in wicking away perspiration. This is why we have equipped this jacket with two zipped air vents with two large zipped under the arms (35 cm in size L).

Cut

The loose fit and preformed sleeves free up your movements and let you ski in complete freedom. We designed this jacket with a component that has mechanical stretch. You can move freely while skiing.

Pockets

2 hand pockets with a waterproof zip.1 inside chest pocket with watertight zip.1 outer chest pocket with watertight zip.1 pocket on the left pocket for your skipass with watertight zip.1 quick access inner mesh pocket.

What should you wear under your skiing jacket?

To keep warm and dry, use the 3-breathable-layers rule: A ski base later and a second layer liner jacket to retain warmth, a third layer ski jacket to protect you from bad weather. The base layer keeps you dry by wicking away the perspiration from the skin to the other layers. The second layer provides warmth. Such as padded jackets or fleece sweaters.

The third layer

This layer provides protection from the outdoor elements (snow, rain and wind) by keeping them out (while still letting perspiration escape from inside so you don’t feel wet). It should therefore ideally be waterproof AND breathable. The third layer (or layer 3) can also provide insulation in the case of lined trousers or jacket and complement the second layer (or layer 2).

Water repellency

Water-repellent fabric allows water to run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from becoming waterlogged and remains light, breathable and warm. A fabric is made water-repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. This treatment needs to be renewed during the lifetime of the garment (we recommend every 3 washes). All Wedze jackets have received a water-repellent treatment.

Component waterproofing

The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A fabric with a waterproof rating of 10000 mm is therefore resistant to the pressure exerted by a 10000 mm column of water

Product testing

Our team of designers is based at the foot of the Mont-Blanc, near many ski resorts in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are simple and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, because we believe that the only way to continuously improve our products is to test them under the real-life conditions that you will experience in use.

Storage instructions

Dry this waterproof protective garment thoroughly before storing it.
