Very disappointed, as I was using the belt only a few times, took very good care (rinsed it off with water after every dive, didn't store it in the sun etc.) still, the buckle just broke yesterday WHILE I was diving. thanks to quickly realizing I could still grab the belt and therefor could save the diving weights, dive knife etc., but I could have easily lost all that. The two pieces of the buckle just dislodged as I was tightening the belt on the surface. Looks to me like a design flaw.
Work well
Just arrived in the post, straight out the bag so not even used by myself, the rubber is worn and peeling, the buckle is scratched, this honestly looks like a used belt and one that isn’t in good condition at that.

Mam na nim 6kg balastu i wszystko jest ok. Co prawda to tylko plastikowa klamra ale jeszcze nie zdarzyło mi się aby mnie zawiodła. Guma ok. Uprawiam od niedawna rekreacyjnie freedivingu i pas spełnia swoją funkcję.
Używałem wiele pasów i myślałem że pas to pas nie może być zły. Ten pas na szczęscie lub niestety długo nie posłużył raptem ok 1h. Jakość gumy od razu pozostawiała wiele do życzenia, obłaził wycierał się itp. Po godzinie nurkowania klamra strzeliła i pas spadł . Szkoda tylko balastu. :-)

Désolé de cet incident, et navré pour votre lestage.
Pour permettre à nos équipe de conception d'améliorer le produit, pourriez-vous m'indiquer dans quel contexte vous avez perdu la ceinture (plongée bouteille, freediving, spearfishing) ? ainsi que le lestage que vous aviez utilisé (en kilo) ?
Afin d'obtenir un serrage complet, la ceinture nécessite une mise en tension du caoutchouc. Cela facilitera une meilleur fermeture de la boucle.
Pour sécuriser un lestage plus importent, il existe également dans l'offre de SUBEA des boucles dites "marseillaise".
En espérant que vous trouverez la meilleur solution pour assurer le bon maintien de votre lestage.

Why use a flexible belt when freediving?
The deeper you go, the more the pressure increases. The air in the lungs of the freediver compresses and his waistline decreases under pressure. With a static belt, used in scuba diving for example, the weighting may start to shift. With a flexible belt, the ballast stays in position around the waist.
What has an influence on weighting?
1/ Your physiology (weight) and your body mass index (weight/size). 2/ Water: buoyancy is greater in seawater (you need more weights) than in fresh water. 3/ Your wetsuit: You float more or less depending on the thickness of the neoprene. The thicker the neoprene, the more you float.
